Kaohsiung Xinxing District Hotels

Location 👍👍👍 Formosa Boulevard Station exit 11. Once up is the Liuhe Night. market. Hotel is a few corners away in the middle of a small lane.. (turn in from where the Watsons store is) Staffs are very friendly 👍👍 Room and toilet are spacious.. we booked 2x Quad rooms… 1st pic is a bigger room with a bathtub and shower. 2nd room is a little squeezy and with a smaller toilet without a bathtub (there is a price difference in both room type) Bed is a little bit springy pillow a bit soft / low Breakfast has good choices.. taste wise is a 7.5

A bit far from MRT but acceptable, good service and nice breakfast ， will go again if visiting Kaohsiung next time .

I stayed for three nights. The first morning housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:45 wanting to clean the room. I've never been disturbed so early in the morning by housekeeping. Also, a phone call would have been better appreciated as I was still in bed. Second day there I return to my room after a day of sightseeing and find a pair of men's underwear in my room. Housekeeping also did nothing to clean or organize my room. I'd have to think twice before I'd stay there again.

We lived in the hotel for two days. When settled, they could not understand why we had to pay the second time. It turns out that when booking on Bucking, our money was blocked, but in the payment receipt it was not reflected. After repaying, we were settled in the room. The hotel is clean, comfortable, close to the night and stuff markets - 5 minutes walk. The hotel provides a light dinner in the evening - buffets, cakes, ice cream, tea, coffee, drinks. There are many shops, cafes, metro station and bus stops nearby. We are happy with this hotel, if there is an opportunity, we will come again.

The hotel is a renovated hotel from the former Zunlong Hotel. It is located near the MRT and is close to the famous Liuhe Night Market in Kaohsiung. It is within walking distance. There is also a famous old restaurant, County Ye Chicken City, nearby. I made a special trip to eat there. The taste is very good and the price is moderate. , the breakfast is also very rich, the first choice next time you go on a business trip.

Nothing to complain about this hotel. Very good location, good customer service, nice and clean room! They are also very caring as you can see from the things they provide for you. Very nice breakfast with nice scenery as well and even the lobby has refreshments! Feel like a 5* hotel. I will definitely book again if I come to Kaohsiong! 👍👍👍

All within a few minutes walk from Kaohsiung Station, Meridao Station, and night market. The location was good. Even if you stay at the night market until late, you can walk back in about 5 minutes. Hotel security available You can also go up the elevator by holding the key. The room has no bathtub Shower space only. Breakfast is a buffet. They have ********* cuisine, salads, soups, porridge, dim sum, sweets, bread, and drinks. I stayed for two nights, The food and cake were a little different, which was nice (^^)

It takes 6-7 mins walk from Formosa Boulevard Metro to the hotel, the room is clean and big. The hotel serves tea and snacks from 3pm to 9pm. We are happy to stay in La Inn.

Book the hotel for a last-minute travel. Stayed in this hotel for 8 days. I think for the price the hotel is clean. Here are some breakdowns: Room: The room and the hotel are a little dated, but its acceptable. I think it will work for backpakers. The vent in my room came off a little. The maintenance team should pay attention to things like this. The room I booked does not have a window. Luckily, I'm not in the room most of the time. Recommendation to people if you are interested in this hotel, make sure to book the room with a window. Also, the room I stayed in is small. You need to close up you luggage otherwise you won't have space to walk. Cleanses: The cleanese is within acceptable range for a hotel like this. However, I think the carpet in the room is old and dirty. Management should really consider replacing the carpets. A newer carper can bring the cleanness of the room up one level. The room also has some minor mildew smell when you enter the room. In fact, some parts of the hotel also have minor mildew smells. Management should really figure out how to remove the mildew smell. The mildew smell goes a way if you increase the AC, but then the room becomes too cold. The mildew smell is also reported by some of the reviews. Comfortable: The mattress and pillow are ok. Each bed comes with 2 pillows instead of 4. I have decent sleep on it. Amenities: The hotel comes with two bottles of water everyday. House keeping will provide it daily if you have house keeping. Hotel provides reusable sleepers for bathroom and for use in the room. These are not disposable sleepers. They are reusable. They look very old school and I'm not sure how clean they are. So, I dont use them. I understand its a budget hotel, but it would be really great if they provided disposable sleepers. Also, there is no hand soap in the bathroom. You would think that after the pandemic, washing hand should become an important part of life but hand soap is not provided. I went to one of the local shops here to buy myself a bottle of hand soap. The shower drain is also a little clogged. There is a small poddle of water while showering. I read similar issues in other reviews. Breakfast: The breakfast is ok for the price of the room. Some of the reviews said that the breakfast was better before. Honestly, with inflation, all cost have gone up. I think the selection of breakfast is good for the price of hotel. I think overall the hotel is ok. If you are traveling alone and are under a budget, I think this hotel can be one of the choices.

Hotel staff were very friendly and check in was a breeze. We managed to get two rooms side by side which is a plus point. Every floor has a water dispenser which is very useful if we need hot water. There is a laundry room on the third floor with free washing powder to use. Breakfast buffet on the second floor was really great, my family loves the variety of the food provided and everyday some of the items will be changed too. Hotel is located in between Kaohsiung station and Formosa Boulevard station. Currently there are renovation going on at Kaohsiung station which cause a slight detour if we were to walk over there. Walking time are both around 10mins. Overall we are really satisfied with the stay.
