I was surprised when I checked into the hotel room that there was no bathroom. The dinner and breakfast seemed great for the price. Other than that, there wasn't much to praise. I wish Trip.com had emphasized the lack of a bathroom in the detailed description. I felt very sorry for my group.

Excellent little hotel. The room looks very new and looks to have been recently renovated. Set on a high ground, the view is excellent from the room we stayed in. The inn keeper are all very friendly and helpful. Most do not speak English but we are thankful for Google Translate. That was an efficient bridge across communication barriers. We stayed three days and used the stay to explore Karatsu and Saga. We had a breakfast and dinner plan. The food is excellent. The manager was worried we will be bored with the menu after two days and changed the main dish for us. Very thoughtful. It was an extremely nice stay. It also provided charging points for electric vehicles and is pet-friendly. It was an excellent hotel to escape from the hustle of city life.
