It was a comfortable one night stay. The breakfast spread is good!

Good hotel but staff was a bit stiff, they looked like robots with no emotions (especially the male staffs). Other than that it was fine!

Rooms are quite spacious for japan, smoking area available and parking was free of charge. No 7-Eleven or Lawson nearby, only a small supermarket - this hotel is only recommended if you have a car as otherwise everything is hard to reach.

Great place for a night stay. The room has its own massage chair and the view of the river makes you feel calm and relax. The public bath open till 10.30 pm so you can enjoy a hot bath after dinner. For those who drives, it is free parking. Only downside the mattress is very soft and the pillow is kinda shallow.

Great Hotel

The hotel is situated on the riverbank, with rooms offering views of the river and the distant Karatsu Castle. The rooms aren't very large, but they are slightly larger than a typical double room. Each room also includes a small dining table for snacks. The hotel has a public bath, and overall, it's quite nice. Breakfast is served underground, allowing guests to dine outdoors. The food selection and quality are fairly consistent. The hotel has ample parking, making it very convenient for those traveling by car.

A very nice hotel. You can even soak in the hot springs at night. It's about a 17-minute walk to Karatsu Castle. I would definitely stay here again next time.

If you speak English well, it will be very convenient, as there are many English instructions. However, the front desk staff's English is generally not good, and check-in is done via self-service in English. If you mind, you can ask them. The day before, I stayed at the Mercure across the street, but the sea view wasn't as good as this one's river view (including Karatsu Castle view), which is very beautiful. There's also a light show at night, and there's a small public bath on the first floor—so relaxing! Excellent value for money! The room was cozy and had everything you needed. Interestingly, the refrigerator was also self-service (English instructions included). I only stayed one night, so I didn't have to worry about room cleaning. It seems this hotel cleans every three days, and you can leave your trash in the hallway, which is common in many Japanese hotels. There are fast food restaurants nearby, and the JR station is within walking distance. The river is right outside, a great place for a stroll. The hotel information mentions (paid) bicycle rentals, but I didn't inquire about the details. There are many self-service items in the lobby, and there are English signs indicating free coffee in the morning, but I didn't take advantage of it because I checked out early.

The view from the room was great, and the massage chair was a great addition. The bath and the lighting in the tub were great, and the slight bubbles made it feel like I was in a carbonated bath, so I was very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious, and the cocoa was rich and not watered down. 😊 This is a hotel I'll want to visit again and again.

It was clean, the room was spacious, the view from the window was amazing, there was a massage machine, the breakfast was delicious, and my wife was very satisfied. The staff were also friendly and smiling. We will stay again!

I was able to take my time in the large public bath, so I took another bath in the morning. The breakfast buffet had a satisfying variety, and I enjoyed a leisurely meal of curry and ochazuke (rice with tea) to finish it off. However, there was no convenience store nearby, so I think it's best to buy your favorite drinks and snacks in advance before checking in.
