We stayed 2 nights November 23 and 24. What a beautiful place and what a view! We loved our waiter Condo, he gave the best service and the food was so delicious. I loved the Manyara national park, we saw so many elephants and birds and a lion eating a dead hippo. Overall it was so nice but I am trying to get in touch with the manager Ajay Bahl because they have erroneously charged me for 2 rooms instead of one. The kind owner/manager offered to give us a little more space as a courtesy he opened the door between the rooms for us. we were the only people in the whole place but we should not be charged for this. I hope someone will contact me for the double charge. Thank you

Wonderful location with scenic views. Buildings constructed in the 1960s but still beautiful, some improvements should be made to bathrooms and sidewalks around property but otherwise everything very good. Very clean, good food, good staff, loved the raspberry mousse dessert !

My recent stay at the Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by General Manager Ranjeet Singh and his outstanding team, setting the tone for a truly memorable experience. Accommodation: The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the stunning views of Lake Manyara was a daily highlight. Food: The culinary experience was a delight, thanks to the talented cook who prepared delicious meals that catered to all tastes. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, and the flavors were simply exquisite. Hospitality: The hospitality we received was superb. Ranjeet Singh and his staff members were always attentive, friendly, and eager to assist with any request. Their genuine care and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident throughout our stay. Activities: The lodge offered a range of activities that allowed us to fully enjoy the beauty of the area. From guided wildlife safaris to leisurely walks around the lodge, there was something for everyone. Overall Experience: Our stay at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge was an unforgettable adventure, enhanced by the excellent service and warm hospitality. Special thanks to General Manager Ranjeet Singh and the cook for making our visit truly special. We highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious wildlife experience. Lake Manyara wildlife lodge is nestled at the rim of the rift valley escarpment wall with magnificent views of the Lake. All rooms of this beautiful lodge are facing the lake giving you mesmerizing views. If you enjoy getting close to nature this lodge offers all you wished for, great hospitality, delicious food, excellent and friendly service and a sense of calmness, needless I say more! For sure the rooms could probably use remodeling, but it is nothing that can stop you from enjoying the ambience, and the surrounding peaceful environment. I have stayed in March / 2024 and can’t be any happier with the services they provided. On March 14 after Serengeti we traveled to Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge, with a stop in Karatu for visiting the shops. Unfortunately it got dark so fast and it was raining so bad that we could hardly see the road or the sign for the lodge. It was impossible to travel on the dirt road, and my guide took a wrong turn, getting us stuck in the mud in the middle of the road making this super dangerous! I contacted the lodge, and they did an amazing job to send us a car, but that car got stuck on a different road, then the General Manager of the lodge Ranjeet Singh Sehgal came personally to rescue us and again he himself got stuck in the mud! This took forever and the rain continued heavily! I believe we contacted the lodge at around 8:15 PM, and it took until 11:30 PM until we were able to finally get help. I can’t thank enough to General Manager Mr. Ranjeet Shegal and Mr. Stainley Manjeka enough for not giving up on us and for trying so hard to rescue us in this impossible situation. When I got to the wildlife lodge the Chef had prepared delicious food and was waiting, everyone was in place: the Chef, bartender, the receptionist and directors! It was 11:50 PM when I arrived at the lodge. This was very impressive considering the time! Wonderful hospitality ! You will not get service like this anywhere with friendly, and patient people. My special thanks for the office in Arusha to Purity Munge who kept me calm and patient. It was a terrifying experience while waiting! It will be a very good idea that the Sign for the Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge is visible to drivers. Please see that you will work on it! I have visited several times, and I will always send my guests to stay at this lodge who are always happy with the choice. Thank you so much for a great team and the services provided and I can't wait to go back with my clients.

Lovely view from lodge, we could have sat by the pool all day. Kids loved swimming and they had great food just for kids which is really nice. Had a wonderful massage, very relaxing after being out on so many bumpy, dirt roads. Nice rooms with comfortable beds.

The location of this lodge and the views are absolutely stunning. The hotel however is very old and needs to be renovated. The views from the balconies are often obstructed by plants etc. The bathroom is very dark, the water is lukewarm. The food was really not good. The service was fine, the staff were warm and friendly. All in all not good value for money. We also had safaris organised by the lodge which turned out to be problematic as the drivers car was not registered and he didnt have a drivers licence so we were stopped by the police and had to wait about an hour at the police before we could go to the crater which is quite a big waste of precious time and it also made us very anxious .

Manyara Wildlife Camp is a great setting looking towards the lake. The tents are well situated and furnished. The main building offers a pool, a bar and open plan restaurant. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Fully recommend this place.

We stayed in this property during our safari vacation in Tanzania. This lodge is an elegantly maintained property on the shoulder of the lake Manyara rift valley. The view from the lodge is excellent, and it offers a 180 deg view of the lake. It has a beautifully maintained lawn and an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the rift valley. The viewing platform and poolside bar offer great views as well. The rooms are standard-sized, with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony. We had two interconnected rooms for our family. The lobby is huge with full of exquisite furniture. The staff we found is amicable and welcoming. They always helped us whenever needed. The only thing I found about food is the limited choice. When we stayed, there were very few guests; maybe this is why the food choice was not great. The taste and portions were good, but as I said, the choice was minimal. However, I can downplay it a bit as long we fed well. I don't want to give them four stars for this but consider it 4.5. Overall, this is a great place to stay near Lake Manyara.

La terza notte del ns, safari l'abbiamo passata in questo Lodge vicino al lago Manyara. La camera dove "non" abbiamo dormito è molto particolare per l'aspetto ma poco funzionale. Non esistevano chiusure alle finestre per cui essendo una notte con forte vento entravano spifferi e folate da tutte le parti, sembrava di essere in scooter di inverno ma senza casco. La notte in bianco è stata in parte compensata da una cena con spettacolo dei masai e una colazione veramente ottimi. Consiglio per ottimizzare il soggiorno di sigillare meglio le anche troppe finestre presenti nelle camere.

Am Grabenbroch mit Sicht auf den Lake Manjara ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Das alte aber renovierte Hotel liegt sehr schön und am Morgen kann man, mit Gück, einen schönen Sonnenaufgang erleben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und renoviert, Wasser und Warmwasser bzw. Strom gab es immer. Das Essen war an diesen Abend ausgezeichnet, auch wenn ich mich etwas beobachtet gefühlt habe, da sehr wenig Gäste im September dort waren. Ich kann es auf alle Fälle weiter empfehlen, wenn man kein Camp möchte, dann ist das dort eine sehr gute Wahl!

Sehr gut zum Nationalpark gelegen mit herrlichem Blick. Pool haben wir nicht genutzt. abends gab es Programm, was wir wegen Müdigkeit auch nicht gesehen haben. Essen war OK, abends kleines Salatbuffet und 2 Gerichte zur Auswahl. Morgens Buffet mit eierspeisen. vermutlich lag es auch am Speisesaal, der recht groß ist und wir waren nur sehr wenig Gäste. Getränke haben das übliche in Touristenbereichen gekostet - 5$/Bier z.B. Die Zimmer waren schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, besonders das Bad. Duschen sollte man warm ab 17:00 können, ging aber erst ab 17:45, was nicht schlimm ist, aber wir standen mehrmals erfolglos unter der Dusche.

Primo giorno di safari presso il lake Manyara. Abbiamo dormito qui la prima notte in un lodge tendato carino, ma un pò datato. Locale abbastanza ampio e discretamente pulito. Sicuramente il bello della struttura è che si affaccia sul lago ed ha una vista meravigliosa. Dotato di piscina e bello anche il giardino molto curato con dei curiosi uccellini svolazzanti. Abbiamo mangiato abbondantemente alla carte, tutto buono. Anche la colazione era alla carte e poteva forse essere un pò più varia. Vedendo le altre foto pubblicate credo che per quelli che soggiornano brevemente, diano la disponibilità di stanze meno "attrezzate". Comunque tutto sommato consigliata!!!
