I have been going to this resort as my favorite holiday destination since 2008 and I can say that the quality of service, food and spa care is still as excellent, in some ways even better. I highly recommend both for a short rest and for a long-term treatment stay.

The resort is good, room was conveniently located and cleaned regularly, food in the restaurant was good, and the medical treatments were fine. It would be great to have a kettle in the room, not only the coffee machine. For the medical treatments schedule - it would be a good idea to schedule them earlier, as they always coincided with lunch, making it very difficult to plan in the meal.

I can't help expressing my disappointment with the poor service, language barrier, and lack of responsiveness to basic greetings. Except for the door-key and the wending mashing in the lobby, this is a “time capsule”, in service and facilities 🫣😮💨😬. I the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 is trying do “dig it self out from the past”, but everything starts with trying. Not a single staff member bothered to respond to a basic morning greeting. It is common courtesy to acknowledge a guest's "good morning" or offer a polite response. Overall, I would advise potential guests to consider other options that prioritize customer satisfaction and basic communication skills. If you don’t like to try the “time capsule”? Sorry 😣!

clean room, warm sheets.We like nice staff, which was very helpful and kind. We really aprreciate very good quality of food. Everywhere was clean. I reccomend this hotel to everyone. We very satisfied.

Overall the property was nice. We didn't realize there was three properties (Blue, Red, Green houses) when we booked it. The underground walk ways made it easier to navigate as it was pretty easy to go from the Green to Blue house for dinner and to the Red house for the swimming pool. We stayed in the Green house and the rooms were pretty dated but were spacious.
The dinner buffet was not the best and the hours didn't really lend to flexibility. The bar at the Green house was nice as was the bartender. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This place is so bad it made me join trip advisor. I have absolutely no idea how they were granted 4*. I booked a double room for myself which was very basic it was clean however, so no complaints there. Well except for there was no tea and coffee in the room, just a note saying it was available to buy downstairs. I had come to Karlovy vary to work and we live in Prague so my wife dropped me down. We arrived later than expected and it was raining so I didn’t want my wife to drive home alone. Realising our position the hotel decided to charge her the same price for the night (in the room I had already paid for) as I had paid for 5 days. This felt very opportunistic and set off my stay to a poor start. Went down to breakfast in the morning to be greeted with a nostalgic smell of school dinners. Nothing like sweaty scrambled eggs and pale bacon to start your day. To the spa(?) the whole place is on its last legs nothing like the photos. The plunge pool was still filling when I arrived at 8 which pretty much rendered my visit pointless. The staff were all polite and helpful except the lady(?) on the night shift who was as helpful as dead dog.

Super breakfast and lunch ! We have booked a spa and relax trip and we made such a good choice, all the procedures were professional made, we had a a great time.the staff spoken in both English and German language (German speakers).keep up the good work. Until next time, hotel Sanssouci!
