This hotel was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were what really made this hotel special. They were friendly and accommodating. Vlady went above and beyond her job description on multiple occasions. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice quiet vacation.

Very good hotel, full of privacy and comfort. The hotel has a super good swimming pool and a large space. You can swim and dine in the hotel. Or enjoy the sea view. There are different programs every night, singing and dancing, etc.

Had a lovely stay room was big and clean only downside was no bathtub. We were given a bungalow on the beachfront so was close to everything which was a bonus. The restaurant was well situated and the food options were good as an all inclusive guest I was impressed that you could order wine by the bottle. Lunches were a la carte and all food was included in the package. They had a jetty where they did a tapas bar in the evening we had this twice whilst we were staying. We also had a private meal with a movie for a Small supplement. They also did movies on the beach in the evening. We often had the swimming pool to ourselves which was another bonus. All in all the hotel surpassed most expectations. I have two criticisms, there was no refreshment in the room when we arrived . as an all inclusive guest it would have been nice to have had a bottle of wine and some kind of snack in our room as we arrived at midnight due to our flights being delayed, there was not much of a welcome. I also think they could put bathtubs in some of the bungalows as an option, I personally do not like showers and i find a bathtub more relaxing on holiday. Apart from this i would recommend this as a good value all inclusive hotel

My stay was amazing. The grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained. It’s very serene and peaceful. There is even an adorable red colobus monkey that lives on the property that loves to interact with the staff and guests named Makki. The staff were all so kind and helpful, especially the Massai who provide on premises security. The Massai also provided dinner entertainment one night show casing their unique and beautiful culture. The food was delicious. And we enjoyed spa treatments outside under the swaying palm trees. Had we done a bit more research about the island itself perhaps we would have chosen a slightly more upbeat and populated area but the hotel was able to arrange taxi service to visit another local hotel for dinner and drinks one night. The hotel is beach front but is a bit rocky and with the unique tides in Zanzibar it’s not really a swimable beach but it’s easy enough to leave and enjoy any of the other beaches and sandbars on the island. Overall it was a perfect stay after a long safari in the Serengeti

I stayed for 12 nights in this beautiful hotel. I had a bungalow, with a quiet terrace full of birds. The pools are fabulous, especially the seawater pool, which fills when the tide comes in, becoming part of the sea. The food ( half board for me) was first class, a la carte and lots of choice. The beach from the property turning left took me along to white sandy beaches and the Island hotel. The staff were amazing. I enjoyed a visit to the local village, which the hotel supports. Everything was perfect. I could even watch Netflix, which was good for a solo traveller. Though watching 'The Lion King'on the beach was a lovely experience. I would love to return and can strongly recommend this hotel

Thanks to Adéla the european manager we had a wonderful experience in this very confortable and quiet place. It is a luxus small size resort, very well managed : beautiful gardens and swimming pool, beautiful rooms, kind staff (you are not just a number of room or bungalow), excellent and generous cooking. You just have to know that ebony studio is just a smaller size room and not a bungalow, that there are tides like almost everywhere in Zanzibar (but you have another pool on the beach) and you ll enjoy your stay.

We stayed here for one week in a superior bungalow in December over new years. The welcome was lovely and personally met by the guest experience manager with a refreshing cold wet flannel and a chilled fresh juice bought to you as well. Once the paper work is done you get shown around your room. Our bungalow was big and clean with a big comfortable bed, the room was cleaned and mopped and every day, in the evening a turn down service where they also sprayed the room and removed any rubbish. There was a kettle, fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer , a free safe with the key on your door key ring and fresh safe drinking water which is replenished every day as well as drinks in the fridge. We booked directly with the hotel and booked the experienced couples package which included 7Nts all inclusive, airport transfers, trip to the spice farm and stone town. Food is cooked to order you get a breakfast and lunch menu with specials at lunch and dinner is a new menu every night. All produce is washed in bottled water and ice is also made from it as well. The food is delicious but the service doesn’t match the standard which lets the experience down. We could be waiting up to an hour for food and drinks get forgotten so you have to re order again and again. It’s a shame as having this organised in a more efficient way would only improve their guests experience, there are enough staff but seem to hang around chatting or polishing glasses with their backs to the guests. The staff are lovely and genuinely seem happy at work and always have a friendly welcome and or smile for guests. Tips are in a box at reception and divided to all staff. Service is slow around the pool and we didn’t see any snacks or offer of them. The pool bar hardly ever has anyone there serving. The jetty is a lovely place to lounge as there’s a lovely breeze and even though the tide is way out they have made a pool to reserve sea water which is cleaned every 2 days, there is a bar at the jetty as well but again you only get service if it is staffed even though it says it’s open 11-17:00. They have a tip box at reception that gets divided among all staff so this is a good incentive for them to all do their best. They also have a basket for any donation for the less fortunate in the community which was lovely. I purchased some sanitary pads when we went to stone town and put them in there. There isn’t much outside the hotel so you can’t just go for a walk. There is no beach due to the tide and the mangrove it’s just sandy mud in the day and when the tide comes is it’s right up to the hotel. They do have a transfer service to and from a beach which is an 11 minute drive and you need to book it the day before. All you need to do is purchase a drink at the beach bar for the use of their beds. You take beach towels from the hotel to use there. The general manager and guest experience manager are around for any needs or questions you have. Due to the resort being small they r

We had a very good vacation in this hotel, especially big thanks to the managers Vlady and Adela, who were most helpful in any situation, including organizing trips , recommending different places to eat etc. The rooms are spacious and clean, the pool is big. and suitable for different ages (chldren). Restaurant offers many different options. You can join yoga class and take massage. The only thing You'll have to know befor booking, is that the sea is due to tide not close. But for swimming in the sea, You can use hotel transfer every day to the other beach nearby, which is 10 min away. The beach is there beautiful and very good that it is not crowded.

White Paradise is the pure perfection. We stayed for 8 days to celebrate my sisters 30th birthday, and she couldn’t have asked for more to make this celebration an experience of a life time. Staff - The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay and experience is exceptional, we can’t thank you all enough for making our stay so special. All of the staff are warm, friendly and genuinely care for you. They also teach you Swahili if you wish to learn, which is greeted with such warmth when you speak their language. I have never stayed in a hotel with nicer staff, they make this beautiful hotel even more unique Masai - The Masai are the security for the hotel and will check on you if you wonder far on the beach. They are wonderful. Full of knowledge of Tanzanian culture and teach you the ways of the Masai. All of the Masai we met went out of their way for guests. They also really want to know your own culture and show a genuine interest in learning about the world. Food - The food is incredible, made to order and is the absolute top quality. Each day serves a different verity. Some nights were served on the beach. With seated dining moved outside, and service at your table. The barbecue night is fabulous Drinks - Drinks and cocktails are beyond amazing. We tried most things on the menu and were not disappointed. They staff will walk around the pool all day and serve you at your lounger or inside the pool with drinks and snacks Accommodation - The villas are so peaceful. Each has its own private walkway, surrounded by trees and bushes to give you an escape and truly secluded feel. Inside the air con is powerful, keeping you cool. The beds come with a mosquito net, with housekeeping coming each night to ensure the nets are down and to spray the room with insect repellent (it’s a nice smelling one). The room size, bathroom and living area is large with lots of room. Towels and robes are provided and can be switched for new ones as you wish. Inside the bathroom they stock local soap, shampoo and conditioner…all of which is luxurious and can be purchased at the reception Beach - The beach at the hotel is not good for swimming due to the mangrove trees. But the hotel offer a free shuttle to a private beach 15 mins away. The mangrove beach is absolutely stunning and a really unique view, and when the tide goes out you can walk along for miles enjoying the view (often accompanied by a Masai or seeing friendly locals). Pool - The pool is the largest in Zanzibar. It’s lit up at night beautifully and is the perfect escape from the African sun in the day. Due to the size of the hotel, there is never a scramble for Sun loungers or the need to rush to reserve one. There will always be a lounger for you. Outside of each room are also 2 Sun loungers and deck chairs. So if you wanted to relax with more peace, that is an option too. Most rooms are under a minute walk to the pool. Entertainment - each night is unique. We saw a local dance show, cinema

The resort is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The rooms (we had an upgrade) were tastefully decorated and clean. The food was amazing. The eggs Benedict for breakfast the best! But of all, the staff was just amazing. Super friendly and kind and extremely helpful. They take an extra step to make your stay a memorable one.
