We were robbed during our stay at Seasons Lodge. The property looks charming in the photos, but in reality, they capture the "vintage" beach style. Old furniture, omnipresent dust, and cobwebs create an unforgettable atmosphere. On September 25th, despite the locked doors and a "do not disturb" sign on the gate, the staff entered the room, sprayed perfume, and turned on the bedside lamps. On September 26th, we left the room to be cleaned for the entire day. When we returned, the lodge door was unlocked. While we were gone, someone entered our room and searched our backpack in the bedroom. The staff accompanied us to file a police report, but we weren't provided with the security footage (we don't even know if it was working). The manager (a very slippery person—he high-fives and smiles in front of guests, but when no one notices, he becomes rude and accuses guests of failing to maintain proper security) became aggressive when I put the ambassador on his phone. The manager even gave us some "golden advice," which I'll quote here in detail: "In today's world, don't trust anyone, don't trust me, you can't trust me." In a civilized world, such things shouldn't happen. They certainly shouldn't happen to a property that wants to welcome guests from abroad. The hotel has a security problem. The arrogance, rudeness, arrogance, lack of empathy, and the denial of any responsibility for the property's safety to guests—all of this leads me to advise everyone against staying here.
