Great rustic German traditional food from the area. Very hearty and relatively inexpensive. Great beer garden. Very popular place in the neighborhood and I the summer it can get very crowded. Service is prompt and efficient even if the Restaurant is packed to capacity.

Cuisine allemande traditionnelle et très bonne. Carte assez courte mais de qualité. Grand choix d’escalopes et la valaisanne est très bonne. Cadre rustique sympa et partie arrière sous véranda très agréable. Prix très corrects et portions gargantuesques.

Die Bedienung wurde eisig, nachdem wir bemerkt haben, dass es der Koch wohl mit dem Salz etwas zu gut gemeint hatte. Keine Entschuldigung, kein Dankeschön für das trotzdem gegebene Trinkgeld. Da wird man uns nicht wiedersehen.

wir waren zum ersten Mal im Papen Änne und waren sehr enttäuscht. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im Keller, das nur teilrenoviert war. Unter dem Nachtkästchen sah man noch Reste vom alten Fußboden, Wandspiegel war halb blind. Duschgel gab es nur im Portionsbriefchen, wurde nach 1 Nacht NICHT nachgefüllt. Frühstücksbüffet recht lieblos, viele abgepackte Sachen, Teewasser nur in der Thermoskanne. Rezeption nach 22 Uhr nicht mehr besetzt, Raum abgeschlossen, so dass wir keinen WLAN-Zugangscode hatten. Der stand zwar auf einem Schild an der Rezeption, wir wurden aber beim Check-in nicht darauf hingewiesen. Fazit: für das Geld gibt es bessere Hotels in Kassel
