Our room was in the guest house and was roomy and had a balcony. The kitchenette was a nice bonus. Breakfast was ok, but not outstanding. The EVC was great but they need an additional one plus more parking is needed since we parked in the adjacent field one night. The location is odd; behind a gas station and in front of the train tracks. Ear plugs were provided though so that helped. The tram stop is across the street which is convenient but due to ongoing construction the schedule was limited. There really isn’t anything within walking distance so you need to drive/taxi/bus into the center of town. Overall our stay was pleasant however and we would stay here again.

Rooms were extremely basic by comparison with the photos on *******. Staff weren’t anything like as helpful as they could have been. One very positive thing, however, was the breakfast, which was excellent quality and value. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The location is a bit far from the main center. Also the tram work is going on..so if you travelling by public transport you will have to make 1 change.
The card machine was not working, they said it was for many parts of Germany, but I was able to swipe for my other shopping and travel etc. I had to pay cash for my stay for which I had to withdraw from the ATM in city (20min by bus + tram). Overall it was 'ok' experience.

First time in Freiburg since 2001. Very clean room. Friendly staff. Parking is easy. Public transportation is very close. Breakfast was plentiful and tasted great. Id stay here again.

We had a problem with this hotel and not only we weren't helped, but they never answered. From what I could see, people here are really unfriendly and they only care about your money. After the payment, you are left completely on your own.
