Best Western Plus Airport Hotel Copenhagen

Close to airport (1 station away) and metro (direct line to major attractions), good for one night stay. Room is clean and decent size. Can be considered if on budget travel.

We ended up staying here unexpectedly after our flight got cancelled — we were supposed to meet someone, so we had to find a place near the airport last minute. In terms of location, it really helped. It’s very close to the airport, which made a stressful situation a bit easier. What left a bad impression on me was the reception experience. The lady at the front desk felt quite rude, at least from my perspective. There was no greeting or even a simple “hello” when I walked up. When I handed her my passport, she handled it carelessly and said she couldn’t read my name, asking me to read it out myself. After that, the way she called my name felt dismissive and a bit disrespectful. It just didn’t sit right with me, especially after a long and tiring travel day. I didn’t say anything at the time — I was exhausted and didn’t want to create a scene. Maybe that’s just her way, and everyone is different. But small things like basic politeness and kindness at reception really matter, especially for guests dealing with cancelled flights and last-minute stress. Overall, the location works well for airport stays, but the front desk service could definitely be warmer and more welcoming.

Stay here So many times still the best option

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days, occupying 3 different rooms due to separate bookings. My experience varied depending on the room type. For the smaller room, the condition was quite disappointing — the carpet was dirty with many dark stains, and the pillows had an unpleasant smell. The room itself felt cramped. Also, do note that basic amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo are not provided, so it’s best to bring your own. There were no robes or slippers either. For the larger room, the experience was slightly better. It came with a coffee machine (though strangely, no kettle). However, the lighting was still minimal — no ceiling lamps, just a few dim lights. I’m not sure if that’s typical for Denmark, but it felt a bit unusual to me. On the positive side, I really loved the location. It’s in a convenient area, close to grocery stores, in a calm and peaceful neighborhood with no noise pollution. Overall, the surroundings were lovely even though the room conditions could be improved.
