I stayed here alone for 5 nights. It was clean, quiet, and all the staff were incredibly hospitable. They checked in on me regularly, but never in an overbearing way, always very kind and friendly, making me feel right at home. For breakfast, once you're seated, they come to take your order along with the menu. It's not a buffet; they cook everything fresh for you on the spot. You can choose as many items as you like from the menu, including toast, pancakes (plain, banana, etc.), yogurt, cereal, fruit, and cooked dishes (omelets, boiled eggs, fried eggs, etc.). It was wonderful to have a freshly prepared, warm breakfast!

Getting around wasn't really an issue. The bedding was in good condition and the air conditioning worked well, providing cool air. There was no dampness or strange odors. Hot water was also readily available. The breakfast tasted good too! For the affordable price, the quality was quite decent. I recommend it.

It's on the edge of the Thamel area, but all facilities are close by. A taxi to the airport costs 600 rupees. It's clean, and the owner and staff are all wonderful. It was quiet, so I slept really well. If I come back to Kathmandu, I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and tidy, and the owner spoke some Chinese, offering excellent and warm service. I didn't have a local SIM card, so I couldn't use Indrive, but when I asked the owner for help, they even assisted me in booking a car to my desired destination. The breakfast was also very good. Next time I'm in Kathmandu, I'll definitely stay here again.

My stay at Ananta Home was very pleasant. The location is perfect, since it tucked away just enough to be quiet at night, yet it’s right in the center of Thamel, so everything like, shops, restaurants, and temples are in a short walk away. The rooms was well-maintained, exactly what you need after a long day of exploring. The breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, delicious, nutritious, and a great way to start the day. The staff was incredibly helpful, caring, and went out of their way to assist us with arranging local transport and giving great tips for exploring the city. If you are looking for a comfortable place with genuine hospitality in Kathmandu, Ananta Home is a great choice. We loved our time there.🩷

The staff are fluent in Japanese and provide excellent assistance with tour bookings and inquiries. For breakfast, instead of a buffet, you can order what you'd like. Though the selection is small, it's delicious. The tour driver they recommended was fantastic, but I couldn't send a thank you message to him directly. Please pass on my gratitude. I definitely plan to stay at this hotel and request the same driver again on my next visit.
