Reviews of Family Peace House

First I must say that I believe that most reviews that state 5 out of 5, are fabricated through the owner to lift up the overall review rate. The hotel, the rooms, are in such a dilapidated state, that to give more then 4 stars is just imposible. First I was in room 301. Matras quality : 2 of 10 You can feel the hard wooden board through the old foam matras, not nice…. Bathroom, very bad. The showerhead releases allmost no water, as it is blocked with ???? the amount of warm water is minimal. First bathroom, I encountered in Nepal, with no waterhose to clean your bum. Fixtures leaking in all kind of places. Quality off bathroom : 1 of 10 Overall cleanliness: 2 of 10 Maintanance of room : 1 of 10 Some glas in windows are broken. I had to ask for a shelf to put my things on, otherwise I had to put all my stuff on the floor. The only really good thing was the fan. It was new. Then I was moved to room 303. Matras quality : 6 of 10 reasonable to sleep upon. Bathroom, I had to punture most of the holes in the showerhead, as it was blocked with calcined lime. Fungus on the wall, un unhealthy thing.. 4 of my 6 days staying there I had no hot water, as this room is connected to a different system. Quality off bathroom : 2 of 10 The fan is old and not in proper working order, it should be replaced. Overall cleanliness: 2 of 10 Maintanance of room 2 of 10 The owner tries to be helpfull, that is the truth, but with an infrastucture that is to old, and not well maintained, it is of little use to your comfort. It looks like since it was opened, there has been not any maintanance of the hotel. It seems the owner is only interested in money coming in, and as little as possible going out for repairing things, that need reparing. The good thing here was the wi-fi : 10 of 10 Really fast internet. Also there is a water filtering machine, where you can fill your waterbottle. A cup of bad Nescafé coffe cost here 100NLR. 500M. further you find a good capucino made trough an Italian machine for 130NLR. The kitchen is below cleanliness criterion, avoid it.
