We stayed at Hotel Atlantic in December and had a very comfortable stay. The Location is very good because its in a more quiet place but still in Thamel. The Breakfast is also nice and freshly made. We booked a Trek with them and it was amazing. The Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Overall we had a really nice stay at the Hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

I lived my life in Canada, USA and Australia. Travelling is my passion. I have been to Nepal several times and visited besides Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dullu etc and obviously have stayed at multiple hotels. In Thamel Kathmandu I have stayed in few very hotels but Hotel Osho is where I felt at home. This is my come back to this hotel for good reasons which is hard to find in Thamel. The location is the best and closest to everything in a quiet street. The hotel is very clean with helpful friendly staff. House keeping is excellent. Perfect terrace to relax comparing to many other hotels. Warm heated reception with first class facilities. Please contact Bishnu and he resembles his given name lord Vishnu, he solves all your problems. A friendliest hotel client representative I have ever met in Nepal. He was so open with pricing and kept his words with no strings attached etc eg tax .He even bought a digital scale to weigh my luggage. The facility does not have a lift service but the staff takes care of the luggage. I strongly advise that don’t waste your time searching just book Osho and try try believe me you will not regret. For sure I will return again as it is my second home when I am in Kathmandu, for this stay of 5 weeks still feels short.

Good location! Just on the side street of Chinatown, eating is also convenient, there are several Chinese restaurants that are best to eat is this, look at the picture below. The hotel price is also very close to the people, more than 100 prices are much better than the Axi 288 yuan and the temple hotel 312 yuan that lived in Kathmandu before. The balcony can put a small table to eat, drink tea, chat. The price of 120 also includes breakfast, breakfast sometimes self-service sometimes order food, but, every day change the sample. During my visit to Kathmandu I stayed in this hotel, the place is very well located in the center of the city but away from the noise, it’s easy to walk to the places you want to visit. The room and shared bathroom are comfortable and clean, every day you can see the cleaning staff doing their job. Every morning I practiced yoga on the roof. All the staff is friendly, I especially thank the Manager, Ashish, who helped me plan some routes and gave information, also to Binod Bhandari who is at the reception, always attentive, respectful and willing to answer questions. I recommend this hotel, it was my first visit to Kathmandu and I’m sure I will return in the future.

Our experience at hotel Sapana Garden was very pleasant. The staff was really kind and always willing to help. They picked us up from the airport upon arrival with no extra charge, and although our flight was delayed one hour, they didn’t show any inconvenience to wait for us. The breakfast was delicious, there wasn’t much of it, but I would say it was enough for the people who were at the time (and they would cook some more if there wasn’t enough). The room and facilities were very clean. The only thing we didn’t like much was that we have to tell the receptionist each day that we wanted them to make up the room and leave the key (after the first night we didn’t say anything and the room was not done when we got back to the hotel in the evening). Also, the location was very good. Overall, I would definitely stay her once again.

What a fantastic place to stay! The service given was exceptional and in particular miss Parina helped reschedule at short notice and accommodate every request seamlessly. Also, location and price was amazing and the room cleanliness and food was great. I can’t fault the staff and hotel and would recommend highly of you are thinking of visiting Kathmandu.

They are very welcoming, and the reception staff was awesome. They accept international visa card. Every floor have a nice balcony for gossiping, eating coffee and smoking. With this budget, best hotel. My room was 404. Problems: 1. The telephone was not dead. 2. Curtains are very thin so in the morning you can't sleep in the sunlight. 3. The doors and windows are very old, that's why if someone is talking outside of the room you will hear everything and maybe they also hear you. 4. They just provide tissue and soap, they didn’t provide toothbrush, toothpaste, or shampoo. So if you booked this hotel keep this with you. 5. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you don't like the stairs, is it not for you and you can talk to the hotel before booking for the 2nd floors room.
