AC Hotel Kansas City Downtown

The hotel overall was good. However, the Wi-Fi wasn't working when I checked in. The front desk wasn't very proactive in helping with the situation, but thankfully it was resolved in the end. There are no restaurants or supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. On the positive side, the free streetcar stop is only a 5-minute walk away.

There were cockroaches under the bed in my room. I reported it to Trip.com, and they contacted the hotel. The hotel denied it, saying no guest had ever complained about cockroaches. Luckily, I recorded a video as proof. Seriously, avoid this hotel, don't get scammed! It feels like a warehouse converted into a hotel, really poor quality. The location is also terrible; downtown Kansas City has absolutely nothing going on. You'd be much better off staying near Central Park.

The hotel is relatively new and easy to get to by taxi.

Hotels in small towns like Kansas are incredibly expensive, offering poor value for money. Plus, transportation costs extra, and you have to park outside yourself in the parking lot. Okay, I don't like this feeling. That's just how it is.
