Great place but not in the best part of town

The room was cold and the pool area was cold had hoped for a better food menu

This is our main place we book where ever we go. The staff is friendly the room was clean the kids had a great time in the pool. The one problem I had was that the hot tub was cold and dirty I was upset about that.

The coffee was delicious but the attendant was in a bad mood to serve the public

Best place to stay in KS!!!

Avoid at all cost! This hotel is not only very dated (which normally doesn't bother me) but it was FILTHY!! I booked a 3 night stay for a conference and checked out after the 1st night! The carpet was extremely stained and sticky. I had to wear shoes the entire time and even they were sticking when I walked. The shower had mold and mildew growing around the fixtures and on grout on the wall. My breaking point is when I opened the microwave and refrigerator and found someone's 1/2 eaten food! I would have left if it wasn't already near midnight. When I told them that I was checking out early and expected to not be charged for all 3 nights and why, the lady at the counter did apologize. When checking out I forgot 2 items in my room. When I realized it and went back several hours later, I was told I couldn't have my things and that they would have to ship them to me!! I was standing right there!! They refused to walk down the hall and get them from house keeping. All the guy at the desk would say is I have no control ovr it and it's just how it's done. I have always had good service as an Honors member, and am appalled at how I was treated and the price I was charged for a dirty room then forced to pay for my items to be mailed back despite standing in front of them asking for them.

Do not stay here. If I could give 0 stars I would. The only thing pleasant was the man at the front desk, the two people cleaning up the breakfast area in the morning (the gentleman working the grill in the kitchen was absolutely rude and clearly hated his job) and Christy in accounting. The place is absolutely run down and filthy. Our room was sup par with one having a stain on the bed skirt and one bed without. Fridge was so frozen over we could hardly use it. Not a clean window on site and if it weren’t for our family of 5 not being able to find accommodations elsewhere last minute we would not have stayed. Hotel pool has been closed by the health department and the pool bathrooms were disgusting. Couldn’t even honor the $3 upgrade to a different kind of beer at happy hour because of lack of availability(to upgrade a bottled beer it cost me $7) . This is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at and to be honest it has me second guessing every Hilton property I will book in the future.

Don’t expect the usual Embassy Suites experience here. It seems Hilton is milking this property for what little it’s still worth. Frayed and dirty carpet, rust spots in the tub, and a sad looking place.

This was one a classic hotel. First rate, it is due to close on 9/15/2025. I'm not sure what will happen then; it will probably be demolished, as it is in dire need of renovation. You can tell they are not doing anything to keep it up at present. This was one of our favorites; we hate to see it go.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Kansas City and the check-in experience was excellent—the staff was friendly and welcoming, which set a positive tone. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms tells a different story. The room itself is in need of some serious updates and maintenance. I noticed rust on fixtures, chipped paint, smudges on the windows, and stagnant water in the tub. The balcony also felt concerning—I didn’t feel comfortable stepping out because the guardrails didn’t seem sturdy, and I questioned their stability. Overall, the hospitality was great, but the hotel rooms need major attention to bring them up to the standard you’d expect from Embassy Suites. Until then, I’d suggest management prioritize maintenance and safety improvements.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you are a person of quality. This hotel IS A CONSTRUCTION ZONE. Hotel will be torn down soon. 6:25AM weekdays. JACK HAMMERS-BULLDOZERS Wondering gangs of non-supervised children. Odd people who may or may not be guests. Wi-fi spotty No tv most of the time 2 days no hot water A car was stolen right outside the lobby doors! The good side of hotel is the hosp side. Sirens. Bldg shakes CONSTRUCTION Dirty shabby rooms. Staff is wonderful, just like the staff who went down with the Titanic. DO NOT STAY HERE GARAGE IS DANGEROUS DARK AND FLOODS

This hotel needs to be rescued. I have a hard time understanding why Hilton would attach its brand. I like to be fair and list the good with the bad. This location had decent staff, very good pool area and nice breakfast. The first things that pop into my mind when I recall my stay there are the dismal elevator situation and the stained and filthy floors throughout, including the rooms. There are three elevators but according to what we heard, only two have been working for quite some time. There are long, frustrating waits for an elevator and many people were upset about this. The beds are not comfortable. The room furnishings are pretty junky. I looked around the place and struggled to find one thing that couldn’t use improvement. This hotel is located across from a huge hospital and we heard ambulance sirens all night long. For some reason there is a lot of drag racing going on late at night; much noise from outside. And the parking situation is not good. They have arms to keep out people that don’t belong in the parking area but one entrance keeps the arm up all the time. There were several break-ins while we were there. I would definitely recommend finding a different hotel until this place makes some improvements.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to, the room had dead bugs 2 of the elevators were broken down and some people got trapped. Not only that the the phone for room service didn’t work and when we called the front desk I kid you not they said “that’s not our problem” and hung up this was truly one of the worst hotels I have ever been in.
