We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Phillips! Something to note is that reservations are required for the speakeasy, and the reservation we made here did NOT include breakfast or the valet service which is necessary due to the location. Everything in the room was clean except for the shower curtain, which is why I rated the cleanliness as 4 rather than 5. Overall the hotel has a ton of charm and friendly helpful staff!

Checkout is at 11 and check in is at 4. That's 5 hours to get rooms ready. Tell me why my son and I arrived at 415 and sat in the lobby for over 2 hours waiting on our room to be "ready". I just don't understand. I know they were booked up because of the convention but I don't understand how that makes a room that I booked 2 days prior to arriving not be ready on time. We ended up missing 2 hours of the convention because we were stuck waiting at the hotel. Also, nothing was offered to us for our trouble.

Great historic and beautiful hotel. They would definitely benefit from a bar and restaurant that is open late. At least on the weekends.

This hotel is beautiful and very nostalgic. Well preserved architecture and features. The room was cozy and quaint. Like many other businesses, they were slightly short staffed and some of the amenities suffered. The restaurant and bar hours were not as advertised so call before and clarify this.

I can't believe this is a Hilton Hotel! The front desk person was in street clothes, didn't even stand when I checked in. The rooms are showing wear and tear such as scuff marks on the hardware and loose fixtures and shower door handles. The sink in my room didn't drain so they moved me. When I got to the new room the door was ajar but luckily no one was in the room. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

First time staying at Hotel Phillips. Will not return. Service and restaurant was ok, definitely not anything to rave about for the high prices. Parking is not free, $18 to park yourself in a parking garage (which was not far) or $30 valet. Room was completely unacceptable. We walked in and it had a strong vomit-like odor. We just thought it was musty and older building and smells happen. We left room to eat dinner, etc. and tried to not let that get to us. Well, later that evening we came back to the room and the odor was still there unfortunately. We were on the bed trying to wind down for the night and smell got way more pungent. Realized that the smell was indeed, VOMIT. Evidence on the carpet right next to bed that clearly did not clean up completely. We were too tired to complain and switch rooms (which they were completely booked up I believe anyways). We dealt with it. It makes me wonder how the cleaning service did not notice the odor or better yet bother to find the source and clean it up. Totally ruined our sleep that night. And definitely will not return. The whole hotel was just not what we expected. To be honest, Motel 8’s are way better on service/ amenities/ cleanliness.
