Spent our first night when we arrived in the midnight. The hotel is only a few minutes' drive from the airport. It has good size room and free coffee/tea throughout the day.
We had a morning walk around the hotel and it was pretty nice and safe.

Completely not understanding or willing go help in any way with a change/refund policy due to unforeseen circumstances not being able to make the trip to Iceland.

10 minutes by car from the airport. Automatic entrance door (convenient when lugging luggage). A good mattress that supports your back. There is a refrigerator and coffee machine. A small but warm heated pool on the second floor. Overall, a clean and warm accommodation. However, it was disappointing that the female employee just walked away with a displeased look on her face when she couldn't understand the same English sentence twice.

Great hotel, lovely clean, nice food and great staff.
It is a bit out the way, especially for public transport
But the hotel offers a great service for drop off to the hotel, just a shame they dont offer pick up too.

Amazing establishment and I’m super happy with my stay there, wouldn’t change a thing.
*if they’re running out of wood for the community fireplace, there’s a hardware store down the street to keep the fire going all night 😉

This is a great hotel in a scenic part of Keflavik. Antea was a very kind hostess and went out of her way to give pointers on places to go. The whole property was very well cared for and the pool / hot tub was exactly what was needed after a day in the cold.

We were stranded in Iceland and I found this hotel on the app. What a pleasant little hotel. The food was the best!! I was so taken with it I would fly back just for another meal. The service was spectacular. It was a short stay but all the same, a happy accident.

We arrived for an overnight layover… you will need to PAY for a taxi to get to the hotel from the airport. This will cost you around $40 and the taxis are waiting for you right outside the airport.
The view was hard to see from the hotel as it was dark out and the small town is only a 15 minute walk but it was too icy for us to walk it. If you want to go to Rejavik get the bus from the airport versus a taxi.
The room was beautiful and the restaurant on site very pretty.
For the opportunities…
The room was extremely hot, we turned off the heat and had to open the patio door and the room would not cool down for hours. The heat made it so uncomfortable that we could not sleep.
The beds were very comfortable but the bedding had a smell like they used new sheets or a pillow/comforter without washing it first. It had the chemical like smell.
The restaurant had great food but the majority of it was extremely salty!
