My wife and I had a great stay at Country Inn & Suites, Port Clinton under the management of Shawna Cowger. The rooms were spotless, and the staff were friendly and engaging. Amy, head of housekeeping, was cheerful as was the other housekeeping staff. Tony, Assistant General Manager, was at the front desk and welcomed us warmly as did other front desk staff—Sandy, Brittany, and several others. I was also happy to talk with the gentleman who headed up the breakfast (I believe he was Terry). He and all the others truly seemed delighted to work at this property. Since my wife is from the area, we will look forward to a future stay.

I enjoyed my stay at this very fine hotel. The Marriott brand is my favorite because of the convenience and the amenities. This is a perfect family or couples hotel. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, and it was an absolutely lovely weekend. With Cedar Point, Put-In-Bay being nearby, and the hotel being right on the water, with the most beautiful sunsets, I enjoyed our one-tank anniversary trip! It started out really bad like the commercial on tv, with the mom waving at her children across the hotel lot. They corrected the error and we ended up in a suite of five beds. The check in time is at three in the afternoon instead of letting you choose. The service for the room was very awesome. Thank you

I chose this place for my family of 5 to stay on a 2night 3 day trip to Cedar Point and I am so happy with my decision! This place is home away from home! There were many different rooms to choose from. Something for everyone! I chose the 2 bed 1 bath with kitchen and sofa bed. It was very roomy and the A/C worked so well! Very clean! Parking right out front! And a huge gated pool with slides! My kids loved it here! Only 5 minutes to Cedar Point too! Big shout out to the staff too! They were all so friendly, warm and welcoming! The helpful gentlemen at the front desk, and of course Sandy and Betty! Oh also they have a complimentary breakfast in the mornings too! Such a nice little family owned hotel. I will for sure choose South Shore Inn on all my stays in Sandusky! Karen

For the price you can't beat this hotel. Exceptionally clean room and friendly staff. I will definitely stay there again next time we are in town.
