Hotel Athina

After having been mishandled by the GPS to find the location of the hotel on the only rue l'elati, we did not expect to discover our room, to be so positively surprised by its characteristics. In addition to its proportions which left room for the exhibition of our pleasure, our business and our satisfaction, we could only be enthusiastic to discover a parquet floor worthy of a Venetian palace. Far from the monastic cells that we had hitherto been able to appreciate in the previous Greek establishments which had welcomed us, barely decorated with door frames and convenience areas with narrow proportions and closed-off smells, we found the space to open our arms and embrace the bed of abundant mountains which were revealed through the openings of our half-open window to the freshness of the evening which was ahead. In short, we were delighted with the place, after having been delighted with the simple but kind welcome from our hostess. After enjoying our night in the soothing silence of blissful sleep, when Helios knocked on our eyelids and on our doors, after having cleansed himself of the heaviness of our numb eyelids and our morning breath, we returned to the vast open space on the nature and on the theater of our breakfast. Elena was waiting for us (if I'm not mistaken) who welcomed us with her tender smile and her natural kindness to inquire, on this dawning day, what could nourish our pleasure. She offered us a breakfast, different every day, enough to make a god of Olympus pale, to satiate a Pantagruel in a Hellenic seminary. The cornucopia... Fruits, Greek yogurt, eggs prepared in the fashion of the day, cakes, toasts and its accompaniments and everything that my memory cannot carry to satiate us until our throat complains of the limits too full. In short, a place where you can enjoy the benefits of a welcome you would never have imagined asking for. Well done and thank you Fabrice

Περάσαμε πέντε εξαίσιες ημέρες στο ξενοδοχείο "Αθηνά" στην Ελάτη Ζαγορίου στα τέλη Μαρτίου τού 2023 . Πρόκειται για ένα θαυμάσιο κατάλυμα, σε εξαίρετη & ήσυχη τοποθεσία με ανεμπόδιστη και επιβλητική θέα. Η αρχιτεκτονική του είναι καλαίσθητη και σέβεται τον περιβάλλοντα χώρο. Το εσωτερικό, τόσο των κοινοχρήστων χώρων όσο και των δωματίων, χαρακτηρίζεται από καλόγουστη πολυτέλεια. Πιστεύουμε ότι το "Αθηνά" μπορεί να αποτελέσει, αναλόγως της επιθυμίας κάθε ταξιδιώτη, ιδανικό "ορμητήριο" για εξερεύνηση της περιοχής των Ζαγοροχωρίων καθώς και μέρος ηρεμίας και ανάπαυσης.
