Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati/Kenwood

No complaints. Staff was super friendly upon check in and throughout the stay. Definitely recommend if traveling in the area. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning.

Every thing was hood and breakfast was consistently refilled for us late risers. I just noticed the usb piets to charge our phones didn’t work. So bring your own plug. Otherwise nice place friendly staff

We arrived late and had to leave early, but everything went smoothly and the room was clean and really nice.

Everything about this stay was excellent. The breakfast was surprisingly upscale, so much better than what I have been used to. The room was great. The pillows were numerous. Location was perfect and parking easy. But my check in was a problem. There was one woman covering the front desk. And she was gone for 30 minutes so I could not check in. There was another staff member, a man who was a bar tender just ten feet away from me who just sat and ignored me. When I asked where she was, he said that she was upstairs. I asked if he could call her to let her know that there was a customer downstairs, he refused to do so. When she did arrive she checked me into room 320. I went upstairs to 320. As I opened the door I smelled foul smells, saw pizza boxes, empty pop bottles on the desk, beds were unmade and towels on the bathroom floor. When I told her the room was not made up, she assigned another room to me but no apology.

The fire alarm kept malfunctioning and going off at random intervals throughout our stay, we had staff in our room at one point to fix it, which is understandable but frustrating nonetheless. On check out day, a hotel staff member unlocked and walked into our room at 10am without our permission. He later told me over the phone that the check out time was 11am. I checked with multiple sources, including a different front desk associate, who confirmed the standard check out for this particular hotel is 12pm. Regardless, walking into our room without permission at 10am is unacceptable. On our way out I asked if I could maybe receive some compensation since the stay was subpar, my information was taken down but I was never contacted. We have friends who live in the area and we had stayed here before and had a nice experience. We planned to continue booking for future trips, but we’ll probably look elsewhere from now on. It would at least have been nice for someone to reach out considering the circumstances.

My honest assessment of this hotel. I was not impressed. I will not stay there again. The bathroom tub had hair in it and a ring around it. When walking my dog there was poop everywhere. You had to be careful where you stepped. Breakfast was disappointing. The oatmeal was made up as a big batch and was like wallpaper paste. Thick and clumpy. The frosted flakes were stale. The scrambled eggs were too salty. The back entrance had concrete pads that were uneven. The day we checked out I tripped and fell. I went to the front desk and filed a report. They refunded my pet fee. Stated they couldn't do anything else at the time because I had pre paid for the room at **********. The lady at the front desk was polite. Took my information and forwarded it to the department that takes care of these reports and stated I would hear from them in about 24 hours. I'm waiting. The final problem is we accidentally left a suit and white sweater in the closet. When we arrived at our next destination we realized it and called the hotel. We were put on hold multiple times and after multiple calls was told there was no one from housekeeping available to ask. Issued unresolved.. The suit was borrowed. So we really would like to get it back. We are going back to hotel today so we can check on this again in person. This stay was a total disaster. So disappointed.
