The facilities are pretty good. The dining room service was a perfect 10 (the Portuguese waiter and waitress, I don't know their names but they were very kind and provided exceptional service). The cleanliness was top-notch, free parking, and everything generally felt very spacious. Definitely a place to return to. A big thank you to the well-managed team!!! Muito obrigado!!!! 👋👋👋👍

It's a nice clean place, with a restaurant and bar!!

Lovely hotel. Clean, friendly and beautiful surroundings. Nice big rooms. My only issue was we had people in the next room talking till after 1am and you could hear them so hard to sleep. Hair dryer is the old hotel style which broke 5 mins in. They did drop me in a replacement but I feel in 2025 rooms should have proper hair dryer and iron in the rooms. Otherwise lovely place.

We have being coming to castlerosse now for 8 years . We stay for a week in the self catering lodges . Staff are so friendly and pleasant and it is so child friendly . There are a few things though I would like to see improve . Firstly , the lighting in the main living area is very dull and needs to be improved. Secondly, the tv is very small and sound quality is very poor . We paid 1600 for the week this year and I think it warrants some improvements Like those mentioned above . A larger tv would be a big improvement . Everything else is great and we will return again next year .

Just back from what was our 3rd visit to the castlerosse. It's probably most convenient for us as a family who has a child with medical needs & as this was our 2nd time using the self-catering option it gave us plenty of space & privacy with the all the trimmings of the hotel facilities. We had to have oxgyen delivered for the hoilday & the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful our oxgyen was there & all in the house on our arrival. Never ate in the restaurant but the bar was lovely ( I recommend the seabass) & we had a stunning view of the Kilarney lakes while sipping our drinks in the afternoon sunshine & very mannerly bar staff to boot. Overall really enjoyed our hoilday a fabulous way to unwind & switch off.

We have stayed two nights in the Castlerosse Resort with our family in July 2026 and all very much enjoyed it. Lovely location in Killarney's outskirts, just a 2 km walk from the city, which is very nice by the way. Huge car park free of charged offered for the hotel guests in front of the resort. Spacious and bright rooms, whereas some of them facing the golf course and the nearby sea. Others did not. I have not had the breakfast but my family did and they had been quite happy with the choices and the fair price (15-16€). Therefore, I made twice use of the "leisure club" (gymnasium, fitness) which was quite OK. The bike's resistance, however, could be checked/adapted (I cycled the highest resistance 20/20 and was still within the low aerob heart rate). Great surroundings, nice place

Stayed one night as we were in Killarney for a citizenship ceremony. Super location nice, clean hotel; service and staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal, and the food was very good. We had one of the best days of the year weather-wise, so that helped. Some nice walks out to Ross Castle and Killarney Golf Club.

Love the location room with a view of the lakes was fabulous. Food both in the bar and restaurant was a real treat. We’ve being going to the Castlerosse Hotel for the last few years always a highlight.

We have been here a number of times now and my parents have been here a lot more. It is a lovely hotel. What stands out for us is the excellent service from all of the staff . . . everyone of them without exception. Also, the food is absolutely amazing. Three breakfasts, three dinners at the hotel and 10/10 every time.
