Keswick Park Hotel

Hotel Highlights: 1. Excellent breakfast: Traditional English breakfast with blood sausage, stir-fried mushrooms, and fried bacon. The service was excellent and very friendly. Just find your table according to your room number. 2. Located in the town center, very close to restaurants and the shopping street. The lake is about a 15-minute walk away. 3. There are six free parking spaces, but aside from the one on the street, finding a spot is a challenge due to limited availability. 4. Check-in is hassle-free; just give your name and get your key. Disadvantages: It gets very cold at night in winter; the old-fashioned windows let in drafts, and the heating is weak. Getting wet in the rain feels like being a middle-aged man… Also, the cleanliness of the bedding is questionable…

The town was nice and quiet, but the rooms were small, the facilities were outdated, and the shower room was extremely small—no one over 90 pounds could fit in. Parking was free, and the breakfast was acceptable.

Keswick Park Hotel is very close to the station, making it convenient for transportation. The hotel offers an English breakfast, which you can order according to your own taste. It is surrounded by a park, so the environment is beautiful. We were given a room on the first floor, which had a large living room outside, which was great!

Stayed for two days, booked separately in two reservations, detailed review in another post I saw Chinese people in the hotel team in the welcome letter, but I didn’t meet any this time (to be precise, I hardly met any Chinese people in Keswick. For a town like this, the accommodations were quite good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was à la carte, very British, and there was so much to eat! A meal like that would cost several pounds in a restaurant, so this was reasonable. The main advantage was that it was hot and freshly made. A trip to Keswick was definitely worthwhile.
