Myself with my family visited from 31dec to 1 jan. Excellent place to stay, room are clean and well maintained all staff are supportive and cool in nature. Food taste is very good. No hidden charges in tarriff Hotel ***ager Mr. Dinesh Makhija is very gentle person supported well for everything. He arrange safari for us also all arrangements made for 31st celebration in hotel seperately for each group with veg & non veg buffet. Overall PAISA WASOOL TRIP. Prashant kusasray. Bhilai, Durg(c.g)

Very bad behaviour all staff is not good and the owner has taken lot of money he has taken lot of money firstly I have cancel the hotel 1 week ago he has tell me when it will sell i will refund the money and room is selled on that day but he has taken half charges from me it's totally froud

I stayed in Motel Chandan for 4 nights with a friend for a tiger safari in Kanha National Park. It was the best hotel and park for our 2-week tiger safari and we really enjoyed it. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the motel had a warm vibe with clean energy. All the food was delicious. Traditional Indian cuisine with an abundance of flavour. All the staff were very attentive as well. As for the park itself, Kanha was our favourite. It was the most beautiful. It was also where we had our best sightings, mostly due to our incredible driver and guide from the hotel Amit. Amit was professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. He also speaks very good English. He really made our experience the best it could be on safari and back at the motel. Thanks, Brother! Dinesh ***** with the other staff were always making sure we were comfortable and happy, even taking our requests for butter chicken and other meals! The motel is 150 meters from the main gate to the national park which is very useful. If you are unfamiliar with how the safari permits function in India, believe me, this makes life much easier. Most parks have different zone entries which means sometimes you are driving upwards of 30-45 minutes to get to the gate and then back to the hotel. Whereas in Chandan you are already at the gate! The only thing I would say is that they don't have wifi which is something they should look into, I had an Indian SIM card so it was okay, but just a suggestion.

As a frequent visitor of Kanha, Motel Chandan is my first choice for a stay. Located barely 150m from the Khatia gate, this property is the most convenient one for safaris. The spacious rooms, neat and clean toilets, nice ambiance, and cordial team made our stay enjoyable. They pamper you with delicious food and are happy to accommodate your choice of meal (of course, it has to be reasonable!). Above all, my mother and I were touched by the warm hospitality and kind behavior of the whole team. This is one of the oldest properties near Khatia gate and maintaining its reputation for more than 25 years now. Therefore, Motel Chandan is highly recommended for travelers seeking budgeted accommodation near Khatia gate in Kanha. I would like to extend my gratitude to Mr. Dinesh Makhija for all sort of helps in planning the trip to Kanha.

***y good reviews have been written about Motel Chandan but honestly speaking they deserve 5 star rating, if not 6-star for their hospitality. They have an excellent chef who cooks some delicious food for the guests. Rooms are very big and spacious ***** with big bathrooms. All the staffs are very well-***nered and polite. The hotel is just a few steps away from Khatiya gate which makes it a favourite among the tourists. But being close to Khatiya gate is not the reason for giving them 5 star, it is the behaviour of the Makhija brothers (Amit and Dinesh) that makes the stay at this hotel memorable. They are one of the best hosts one can be. Great place for all age groups, be it family or friends. I stayed there for 3 nights (Nov 25-27) and have planned to go back again in summers. Location is very good, just in front of the forest entry gate. Rooms are spacious, food is delicious. Staffs are very well behaved and the owner personally takes care of the guests. Can't find a better place to stay at this budget.

The moment the plan got seeded, I reached out to Mr. Dinesh Makhija and that was one of the best decisions that I took. Not only he helped with rooms booking but also helped with Jabalpur pickup drop, safari booking and his tips and suggestions were golden. The booking process was smooth and so was the entire experience. I will summeriz it as follows: Location of resort : The best The staff : Very courteous, helpful and smiling Rooms : Very well maintained, beautifully decorated, comfortable and convenient Pickup drop : Very good car and driver Pappu bhaiya was nice Safari Gypsy : Well maintained and equipped. Very convenient for photography for sure. Driver Kailash - Very well versed with the forest and and one of the best to show you wild life at it's best. He knows the vibes of the animals and takes split second decision to make your experience dream like. Food : Yummy every single time. Their chef deserves special mention as he served really good food for lunch & dinner. This trip gave us some unforgettable moments and I am already looking forward to the next one at Kanha and for sure I will choose Motel Chandan every single time.
