Let me show you the video and photos: In the room the hotel gave me after I checked in, the toilet was not fixed at all. I was shocked when I sat on the rocking chair version of the toilet. Moreover, the water tank was broken and there was a steady stream of water. After negotiating with Ctrip and the hotel, they changed my room for me. Not to mention that there were all kinds of mosquitoes, moths, flies and cockroaches in the room. There were other guests’ hair on the quilt (I reflexively shook it off when I saw the hair. It was so disgusting that I forgot (I took pictures first, sorry), let me show you these slippers first. The slippers that looked dirty at first sight were actually said by the hotel to be white and brand new. I communicated and negotiated with Ctrip again, and they gave me new slippers the next day. Can you guys take a look at the soles of the shoes? Are they new enough? Look at the bathtub after cleaning in the hotel. Maybe the cleaning does not include cleaning the hair? Finally, let’s take a look at the snack bar in the hotel description. The snack bar doesn’t even provide free mineral water. It’s really a shame. Situated inside the walled city - where else would you want to be? Walk outside and walk in history. Clean secure room but you make your bed when you get there. Easy walk to excellent restaurants. The manager can arrange car and driver for day tour. Not a tour guide - a driver plus you pay entry fees (cheap but not explained) Stop for lunch was terrible - served raw chicken - take your own lunch or enjoy a big dinner.

We stayed two nights in this hotel in October 2023. Great location! It was inside the wall and you can walk to all tourist sites. The manager was very nice & friendly. However, the bed, shower and toilet had issues. The beds were sagging badly, the bath tub was broken and water pressure was not strong enough to take a quick shower. Had to turn it off and back on to during shower. It was a tall corner tub with no place to stand & put the shower head any where. The cover of the tub came off so pipes were visible. Breakfast was OK. Would never go back, it was a run down family hotel.
