Hotels near Wat Thung Setthi, Khon Kaen

New hotel, very clean and the rooms are beautiful and charming. It's also close to the mall so it's convenient to find food. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult when the front of the hotel is full.

The room was a very good size, with comfortable beds and pillows, and it was exceptionally clean. However, the soundproofing was very poor. We could clearly hear guests in the room above us walking around and repeatedly opening and closing doors. We were also able to hear loud conversations from the room next door until around 2:30 a.m. As a result, we had difficulty sleeping during our stay. One of the main reasons for staying at a hotel while on vacation is to get a good night’s rest, and unfortunately this hotel fell short in that very important aspect.

The location is great, surrounded by bars which is convenient for a night out, but it's not noisy. The decor has clearly been renovated, but the windows are sealed shut and can't be opened. It's not bad, good value for money.

We like this hotel because it’s spacious, with a garden and open-air seating. It’s also surrounded by convenience stores and close to the popular night market.

September 14, '69: Good service, polite staff. There's parking, which is convenient. The room was quite clean. TV and WiFi worked well. It's in the city center, near the City Pillar Shrine and Mittraphap Road, making travel easy. Overall, good. But! The room isn't soundproof. It rained during my stay, and I could hear dripping water all night. The sound of other rooms' doors opening and closing was loud and clear.

There are 3 room types available here. Those are quite new, clean, and well decorated. The hotel is located one of the prime location in Korat, where you can easily drive into downtown or to M6 toward Bangkok. There are also free parking lots for hotel customer.

I stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel is not new, has a pleasant retro vibe. The windows are looking into the garden, nice and green, with a couple of tables and garden swings. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, even though it's close to a big street. There is ICBC atm just near the entrance. Staff was polite and nice (although I didn't really interact because I don't speak Thai). I arrived close to midnight, and the receptionist was there to check me in. My room didn't get a lot of sunlight (because of the tall trees just outside), but I didn't mind because I was only there to rest and sleep. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and paste, or you can buy from the reception or 7-11 nearby. Free bottled water, also you can refill downstairs. Coffee, tea and jam toast, self service, in the morning. The bed was huge and comfy, I had the best sleep in a while. Also loved Vietnamese restaurant just across the street. Would definitely stay again and choose a room on the ground floor, to have direct garden access.

The reviews weren't great, but when I actually went, it wasn't bad at all. The room wasn't huge, but it had all the amenities, the bathroom was clean, and the bed was comfortable. When I stayed, there was nothing really negative. The AC was cold, and they even provided an extra fan. The breakfast buffet was the best! The laab (spicy minced meat salad) was delicious, especially with rice. They also had congee, fruit, salad, and bread. The hotel is located right behind Central Khon Kaen Campus. It was still under construction when I visited, but now that it's finished, it must be super convenient. I'm worried the prices will go up, haha! If I go back, I'd definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommended!

This was a stopover for us and absolutely met all of our criteria. Great parking next to the cottage. Clean and spacious cottage with very comfy bed. Very tricky to find as Google wanted to take us to another Greenview resort in Maha Sarakam so spent 30 minutes finding the resort. Dog friendly. TV was hard to get going (and there is nothing else to do at the resort)...in fact we were told the entire TV system resort wide was broken (which wasn't the case but you have to go through the Source option to align with the minix box). For food...you have to use Grab who will deliver direct to your cottage. All in a very pleasant stay and I would use as a stopover or for the nearby golf course in the future for sure.

The hotel is clean enough, had a lovely view of the lake and the beds were comfy, air con worked, and it was decent basic accommodation. The wardrobe doors were broken and the drains smelt from the bathroom, which wasn't the nicest. To be honest the whole place could do with a facelift and a lick of paint but the room we had was spacious and its cheap, simple accommodation. The rooftop is actually very lovely, with views out over the lake and the city. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on that. The staff were friendly with no frills, and we all did our best to communicate with English/Thai barrier.
