We booked a junior suite for 2 nights. The room was located on the street side which was quite noisy with the road and foot traffic if you left the windows opened however closing the window blocked out the majority of noise. The room was spacious, but I wouldn’t say the decor was modern it had an antique feel to it. The walls are quite thin so you could hear guests in the room next door. The wi-fi was ridiculously slow when it actually worked. No face washers in the room but a call to receptions quickly resolved that. Breakfast was cooked to order and we loved the traffic light posters 🚥 advising guests of the quiet and busy times. A central location, no parking on site but a public car park is a short walk from the hotel costing €3 for 24 hours or free on Sundays and public holidays.

Did not eat breakfast, don't know how. The room is big enough and the two beds are big enough. We only have two people. I don’t know if we can add an extra bed. The room is not soundproof, but it is quiet after 12 o'clock. The hotel is like a resort, the environment is very good, suitable for bringing children, not in the city center, suitable for self-driving tours, there is free parking.

I had booked a twin and when went to the room this was a King bed. There was no issue when I requested the bed type to be changed. Overall a nice stay

This hotel is a good location for driving the Ring of Kerry and visiting the Dingle Peninsula. It's also about a 15-minute walk to downtown, and there is a local brewery a few blocks away with really good beer. If you drive, the parking lot is pretty small, with limited spaces. Staff was friendly and the room was clean, though if visiting in the summer, the air-conditioning is limited. As with most European hotels, no coffee in the lobby in the morning, but there is a convenient store across the street with really good coffee. If we were to visit Killarney again, we would definitely consider staying at the Dromhall.

Attention to detail and the whole family hotel ethos is why I have been going back to Randles. I have stayed here 3 times before and they know how to treat their customers. I had a problem with s room this time round . Plumbing in the bathroom issue and it was dealt with straight away and no messing or making excuses. The bar food was very nice and the desserts were fab. I'll be booking here again soon for my family and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Had the pleasure of staying in the Hights hotel in April. We upgraded to one of the new premium rooms, and were not disappointed. Fridge, tea coffee facilities in room. Walkin shower. We only had B&B , a big shout out to Leen in the restaurant. Every morning, she had our well-done Bacon ready after our first day. ( it's the little things that make the difference) All the restaurant staff were lovely and helpful over our 4 days . Yes, I would recommend and would stay again. Note there are two types of rooms , premium ( just renovated) and standard.

We had our wedding in the Killarney Oaks Hotel in July 2023. We couldn’t have been happier with how the day went and all our dealings with Tara and the hotel staff. The hotel were amazing to deal with from the day we booked 2 years previous. The drinks reception is still being talked about by our guests, the service and setting is stunning, delicious food and modern affordable bedrooms. Tara had everything timed to perfection, we asked her to show the All Ireland hurling semi final during the meal and we timed the speeches for half time, it was done perfectly!! Food was delicious and catered brilliantly to people with dietary requirements. Lots of staff on so service was prompt and seemless, bar was running smoothly at all times. This is definitely a charming and cute hotel. It looks like someone’s house when you walk in. The staff were very nice and helpful. The problem is largely with the building itself. The floors squeaked something awful, everywhere on the 2nd floor. Not just squeaking, but there was quite a bit of give with the flooring as well. The walls were quite thin so we could hear our drunk neighbors coming back in the middle of the night. Our bathroom light was so dim, we could barely see. The WiFi was spotty at best. The whole place needs updating.

Stayed for a special birthday and felt a few things let the hotel down on this occasion. I found stains upon pulling back the sheets, to be fair, this was handled very quickly and effectively by staff, we were upgraded and moved immediately. The bar is under renovation which takes from the stay somewhat, the temporary bar (during the day) is in the reading room, a very small room, not comfortable, there are seats in the lobby but everyone is passing you to check in and get to their rooms etc. Fredericks was meant to be the evening bar but it was closed when we tried to go there after dinner, which was only about 9pm. Dinner in the Garden Room was average, staff were lovely though. Breakfast was very nice. Overall, ok stay.

Preis-Leistung super. Lage ist perfekt, ca. 10 Gehminuten in die City, 4km zur Muckross Abbey! Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus, wir hatten immer einen gefunden. Frühstück gut, es gibt ”Warme” Auswahlmöglichekeiten (Eier mit Lachs, Full Irish...). Auch sonst wird alles immer zeitnah aufgefüllt. Das Treppenhaus ist recht eng, aber kein Problem, der nette Herr am Empfang hat uns bei Gepäck geholfen. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dennoch ist es hier ruhig und wir hatten sogar eine Badewanne.

This place is truly wonderful - amazing, warm service and absolutely stunning grounds and building. If you aren’t blown away by the tree tunnel drive in or the gorgeous ivy covered facade, you certainly will be by the beautiful rooms, good food and always readily available drinks! The staff is lovely and fun to talk to. We were able to view birds and red deer on the grounds. Plus, easily walkable to many restaurants and bars in downtown Killarney (which is an absolute blast - live music everywhere). This place was a magical retreat and made our Co. Kerry leg of the trip feel so special!

Attention to detail and the whole family hotel ethos is why I have been going back to Randles. I have stayed here 3 times before and they know how to treat their customers. I had a problem with s room this time round . Plumbing in the bathroom issue and it was dealt with straight away and no messing or making excuses. Stayed for a special birthday and felt a few things let the hotel down on this occasion. I found stains upon pulling back the sheets, to be fair, this was handled very quickly and effectively by staff, we were upgraded and moved immediately. The bar is under renovation which takes from the stay somewhat, the temporary bar (during the day) is in the reading room, a very small room, not comfortable, there are seats in the lobby but everyone is passing you to check in and get to their rooms etc. Fredericks was meant to be the evening bar but it was closed when we tried to go there after dinner, which was only about 9pm. Dinner in the Garden Room was average, staff were lovely though. Breakfast was very nice. Overall, ok stay.

We booked a junior suite for 2 nights. The room was located on the street side which was quite noisy with the road and foot traffic if you left the windows opened however closing the window blocked out the majority of noise. The room was spacious, but I wouldn’t say the decor was modern it had an antique feel to it. The walls are quite thin so you could hear guests in the room next door. The wi-fi was ridiculously slow when it actually worked. No face washers in the room but a call to receptions quickly resolved that. Breakfast was cooked to order and we loved the traffic light posters 🚥 advising guests of the quiet and busy times. A central location, no parking on site but a public car park is a short walk from the hotel costing €3 for 24 hours or free on Sundays and public holidays.

We came across this hotel by pure chance. The entrance inside and courteous reception staff was a welcome after a long drive. The corridors and room were clean as if it had a refurbishment and my room was lovely, spacious and the view from the window was a tree canopy, personally I loved it; sitting on the windowsill and tune in with nature listening to birds singing - relaxing. The food was superb and catered for my elderly Mother thank you; great atmosphere too. I didn't avail of the leisure centre as it was 9am opening due to an early start on the road, but I will next time. I would say the front of the building would need painting but no doubt that is on the cards and a few window hinges need looking at, that being said couldn't fault this hotel and would put some five star hotels to shame. A gem of a find and look forward to returning- thank you.
