Reviews of Knights Inn Kingston

Once we figured out where the office was, we went to check in. Time to check in was 3pm and we were a little early. I believe it was the manager we spoke with. He told us not to come back until 4pm because they were busy and the room wasn’t cleaned yet. He gave us the key and said he would call me. That never happened. At any rate, when we returned we went to the room. The door wasn’t closed properly and I entered without the key. Room was cleaned but it was certainly less than I expected. I judged our stay there with regard to the pictures presented on the listing but no where near those images. No coffee machine or electric brewer. No shower gel, lotion or Kleenex tissue. I was not very impressed.

Very nice owner

Quite run-down, with old furniture and carpets. However, the beds were clean and the shower worked fine. So it was okay for one night.

Booked for guests, the hotel's location is excellent, and the guests are very satisfied.

Dirty, messy, and smelling of smoke

It's very convenient. The location is very good. It's less than ten minutes away from the university. There's a big supermarket nearby and the service is good.

Pictures only must be about 10 years old. Restaurant is closed with broken glass. Building is dilapidated and dirty looking. You have to use a phone to call someone to the reception area, which is locked. This is also where the microwave is. Really strong smell of room freshener everywhere. Bed comforters were dirty and the carpet was dirty and smelly. We checked in and checked right back out. Paid a cancellation fee of one night and went to the BestWestern down the street.
