Golden Lake Hotel

Unexpectedly good, perhaps my expectations weren't high to begin with. First off, the room was on the executive floor with a lake view, and the scenery was excellent, even better at night. I have photos to prove it, and I was very satisfied with this. There are also popular photo spots like the telephone booth nearby. The food street is within walking distance, and the Livestock Research Institute is great for a visit. Further afield, the Gaodong Tunnels are also fantastic! The executive lounge offered standard snacks and drinks, but their special cocktail was a fruity drink with a hint of alcohol, which was right up my alley. The breakfast included incredibly delicious braised pork rice. You could add as much braised pork as you liked, and it was even better than the braised pork rice I had at two popular Kinmen influencer restaurants over the past couple of days. The breakfast selection was also quite rich. The room itself was great in all aspects, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The only thing I wasn't used to was that they only provided one reusable bottle for water (I've traveled all over the world, and many hotels in Europe and America aren't this 'eco-friendly'), but it's a minor detail. The fridge also had complimentary drinks. So, all in all, it's a five-star review! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The best hotel in Kinmen! It's right above the Ever Rich Duty Free Shop and my window faced Lake Tai. Super convenient. There are a few small details that could be improved, but overall it's great for families traveling to Kinmen.

The hotel's location is a bit far from Jincheng Town, but Jinhu itself feels relatively new and clean. Downstairs, there's a duty-free shop, though it closes quite early. There's also a supermarket for late-night essentials, a McDonald's, and even a small night market. It's quite close to the Old Street, which is nice for a stroll, and there's a large, pleasant lake outside. Across the street, you'll find convenience stores, making it easy to grab anything you need. Dining options in the evening are a bit limited in the immediate vicinity. The hotel does have a restaurant, but the food is just okay. As for the rooms, they are pretty standard, with slightly older facilities, but they are clean. The breakfast was good, a bit pricey, but satisfying. There was a delicious coffee jelly, but unfortunately, it wasn't available the next day. If I get the chance to visit Kinmen again, I'd still consider staying at Jinhu.

Paid just over a thousand for a lake-view room, and honestly, this is the worst hotel I've stayed in for this price point. My main issues are twofold: First, the breakfast selection was very limited, and the peanuts weren't even fresh – they actually served stale food! Second, there was a horrible mildew smell coming from the sink drain in the room, which was really off-putting. The only silver lining was that there's a duty-free shop right downstairs, which made shopping very convenient!

The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. Having a hot spring and duty-free shop inside was a fantastic experience!

This is the best hotel for Kinmen. Although the location is a bit far out, the duty-free shop and supermarket downstairs are great for browsing. Across the street is the old town with all sorts of food, which is really nice. Highly recommend.

Had a truly excellent experience! The service was warm and friendly, and they even helped me arrange a taxi. It's incredibly quiet at night, perfect for anyone who needs a good night's sleep. Downstairs, there's a duty-free shop always open for browsing, plus a supermarket, which is super convenient.

The service was really bad. You can't check in until 4 PM. I asked the staff if I could check in earlier, and they just sat there doing nothing.
