Well where do I start? At the beginning I think. Found this gem of a place on Red Letter experience, and what a find. In a little village called Nateby..........gorgeous little pub/hotel, bursting with character. All family run. Food absolutely amazing, had dinner both nights here, and a gorgeous breakfast. Staff friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, cozy, doggy friendly, lovely seating area overlooking the glorious fields full of sheep and lambs. Immaculate, pure white, crisp bedding. Now this is a pub with a difference, proper English home cooked, fresh food. Five ⭐'s guy's, keep up the brilliant work, you're all doing an amazing job..........perfect place!!

It is truly my favorite pub food in the Uk. We came 5 times in a row. All food is home cooked and you really taste the difference. It has a small menue guaranteeing all is freshly made. Sticky toffee pudding and crumbles were amongst our favorite deserts.

Brilliant stay. We had walked over 20 miles so were really in need of some comfort after a very wet day walking. Super comfortable bed, delicious food but what sets it apart is the delightful staff. Thank you very much. We really hope to come back!

We visited as a family of 7 adults on New Year’s Eve 31/12/23 We booked in for an evening meal , the food was fantastic, the starters , the mains and the desserts, the service was excellent, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, we would highly recommend and definitely return if we visit the area again. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

We had a small but well appointed room with a small ensuite. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with great service and very friendly staff. Convenient parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Certainly recommend.

Warm welcome by staff on entry. Room cosy and tea tray overflowing with drinks ( Massive cups 👌) very clean bed comfortable. Evening meal ( 8oz burger chips salad and the most amazing coleslaw ) Massive . Prawn cocktail beautiful 😍. Would definitely return and would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful time way just what we needed . 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 yes 6 star .

Walked nearly 2 hours to get here but definitely worth the walk. Had Sunday Lunch. Absolutely delicious. Very well priced, excellent value for money. Will definitely return in the future. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, a hidden gem. The room was lovely clean and very comfortable. Staff friendly and very helpful. Nothing too much. The food was amazing. We had breakfast which was fabulous and ate in the restaurant on both nights. Can highly recommend everything we had. From the steak and Guinness pie to the fish and chips risotto, pate ….. it was all fabulous. Busy all the time, definitely worth a visit. Would highly recommend

Room small as was the bathroom. You can switch on the bathroom light whilst lying on the bed. Sunday lunch, unfortunately lamb was tooooo over cooked, not pink at all. Disappointing experience.
