This hotel was located in an absolutely stunning location, with a view of a beautiful panorama of the lake, mountains and township below. If chasing the northern lights,you can get one of the best views around with just a short 5 minute walk up the hillside behind the hotel to get above the ambient light. On-site gear hire for ski/snowboarding + a range of activities and tours made planning daily activities very simple.

The room was pitifully small, and if you couldn't see the aurora borealis, there was nothing around either, so there was absolutely no reason to stay there.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. They responded promptly to any requests. The facilities were complete and clean, the room layout was well-designed, and the stay was very comfortable. Overall, a perfect experience! Highly recommended!
