Best Two Star Hotels in Kissimmee

I booked a room for 1 night because I never stayed here before, so I don't book more than 1 night when I don't know what they property is like. I knew there was some kind of corruption going on with this place because they have a huge sign that promotes the rates start at $29.95, I know there are no rates this low at this location because I have checked online and with the tool free number, the do not include the resort fee, which is more than the price that they are advertising. This is a scam to start with but I wanted to check it out anyway. I arrived to check in and there was the usual sign on the door that they want people to wear a diaper on their face. I do not wear these things because I am disabled, I have stayed in dozens of hotels in the area and nobody (except the Motel 6) had a problem. In fact asking people to use a medical device in order to use their services is not legal in the USA, a person who asks someone to use a medical device must be qualified to do this (e.g. M.D. etc.) and they must do an individual assessment, and finally even if these are done the medical device can be rejected and they still must provide everyone with equal service. I also have a disability and can not use these things. When I walked in the office immediately the clerk said I needed to wear a diaper on my face, I told her to just your job and check me in, then she immediately told me that she is going to cancel my reservation and that she was calling the police to trespass me, I know the police would not come because this happened to me before but I decided to avoid this hotel and leave because at this point a business that doesn't follow the laws of the country and denies my rights is not a place where I will give my hard earned money to. Avoid this hotel at all cost they are corrupt, they have fraudulent advertising practices and they deny people their rights.

Great stay! Clean. Friendly staff. Exactly what we needed. Love the coffee machine! Every hotel should have this! (Just wish I could access it all day)! The views from the 4th floor were breath taking. It was a wonderful bonus!

We stayed at this hotel at the end of our disney vacation to save money over the high cost of Disney resorts. We were pleasantly surprised by the clean, high quality rooms, nice pool and outdoor hot tub area. We were a short skip and uber ride away from disney and it was nice to take advantage of the shuttle to go to the magic kingdom. I had planned to leave an entirely positive review. However, we did have one incident that left a bad taste in my mouth. My wife has health issues and cannot have breakfast early in the morning due to needing to take medication. So, I went down to breakfast early in the morning and brought breakfast up to her to enjoy when she was able. I did this for two mornings. At the end of the second morning I went down for breakfast I was told to ”please do not bring breakfast back to my room”. I responded ”no problem. I was not aware of this policy.” the very next morning I was greeted by a lobby and breakfast area litterally wall papered with signs stating ”do not bring breakfast up to your room.” Wow!! Signs were all over the front desk, elevators, and all over the breakfast area. I could not turn my head without seeing these signs. I have to say I was really put off and felt insulted by this. It is very easy to make a clear and understood policy regarding breakfast on site at the hotel without humiliating your hotel guests. If is very Rude to put 20 signs in your lobby area after already explaining the policy to a guest. You can simply have one clear sign as you enter the breakfast area. Or list the policy and state it to guests upon arrival to the hotel. Every hotel has different breakfast policies and in fact due to covid 19 many hotels still do not allow guests to eat together in indoor dining settings. It is not unreasonable to believe breakfast that is part of your hotel rate can be brought up to your room and enjoyed privately. Based on this incident we will have to consider staying elsewhere on future trips to Orlando/ Disney.

I was on a solo trip for three nights while in Orlando. This is an older hotel but the inside is kept very clean. The room could use an update but everything was clean and worked great (only complaint would be my room needed a larger television). I saw about 4 different staff members at the front desk during my stay and they always took time to say good morning or hello. I used the pool during one day of my stay. The pool area has plenty of seating and the pool itself is nice. The hotel uses recodeable card keys as room keys and these will let you back into the building after hours. The bushes need to be cut back on the road where you turn into the hotel, it's hard to see down the road to see what's coming before you turn in. I think this is either a public road or belongs to a larger hotel down the street so not sure if this is anything Destiny Palms can control. If I'm ever back in Orlando and need a budget hotel, this would definitely be my go to.

The place was spotless. There seemed to be someone cleaning always The breakfast was great, different style eggs every day. Also a great pancake maker. The staff was always polite & helpful. Especially Ambar who got us our reservation at a better price than on line We enjoyed the pool &our room was cleaned every day. Thanks see you again Ps great location

We stayed here while vacationing to Universal Studios. I don't normally leave many reviews but I had to mention this hotel's customer service which was excellent. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the sweet lady working in the breakfast area, Ana, was such a warm charismatic individual. She checked the room card with a smile and a kind word, asked us several times if there was anything else we needed and was just altogether pleasant. When I mentioned to my family how nice she was, my sister-n-law, who has been to this hotel 4 times this year, made the comment that every time she has been here Ana was working and she always is incredibly nice to everyone. This hotel is super clean, comfortable, and the facilities are modern. We will definitely be back.

4 night here se we celebrated New Years Eve at Universal. Very convenient, very clean, nice front desk staff...no problems at all. For the price on a holiday weekend we could not have made a better choice.
