Best Four Star Hotels in Kissimmee

Usually we walk away from a property with a pretty decisive yay or nay feeling. We either loved it, or it wasn’t for us. We’re languishing this time because this one had high points and some that missed the mark for us. If anyone asked us if we’d recommend it, we think our answer would be to read some reviews, do your own research, consider your own preferences and make the choice you think is right for you. We made a 2 night reservation at 4 am on the day of check in for a queen, pool view room, as our preference (king) was sold out. No big deal. It was the pool view and balcony we were really after anyway. The website said we would receive an email confirmation, which never arrived. (Yep, checked the spam and found we missed many unique and one of a kind money making opportunities, but nothing from Margaritaville). When I called the reservation number to inquire, I found they opened at 8 am. Odd there was no 24 hour reservation help, but okay. Screen shot with confirmation number is what it is. When I called at 8 am, our reservation was verified (yay!). There was no offer to email the reservation but an offer was made to transfer us to the cabana rental staff so we could secure a cabana for the next day. Yes- Sign us up! No one answered and we rang back to the desk who apologized and gave us the number to call. Gave it some time and called at about 8:30. This time we were able to leave a voice mail. We also sent an email to the email address left on the voice mail. We like options. Finally, midmorning, we called and someone answered. It was no problem to get a cabana. We were asked what type of location we preferred and selected the landlocked option, which was indeed the best choice for us. One should note that “On The Water” and “Stars on the Water” are literally 100% poolside. Like hang-on-the-edge-of-the-pool-and-almost-have-an-arm-in-your-cabana on the water. If privacy is your goal, these might not be for you. If you want to step right into the pool, this is your spot. After we made the reservation, we received an email invitation to enroll in the Perks program, and were asked to select 2 perks. We selected 2 free drinks and some type of welcome snacky box. While it could have been our error, we did see in another review where these things were presented to the guest upon check in. In our case, it was never acknowledged or obtained. We arrived for check in. When we pulled into the parking lot, we received a push notification that we could check in using the app (yay! We love this option), which we had downloaded before we left home. Still, there was no way to link our reservation or anything (oh no, we don’t like this!). The app was basically static information with no functions that we were able to unlock for the entire duration of our stay. The lady who helped us at the service desk was rude and very unhelpful. We had drove all the way from Dallas to Orlando with a uhaul we booked 2 nights but couldn't make the first one as we were still on route. She didn't want to give us our room and said that the reservation was canceled because we no showed for our booking. Long story short we had to get the manager who was nice enough to help us and gave us our room.

The rooms were very nice. An upgrade to what is pictured in my opinion. The front desk was amazing. Very kind and easy to deal with. The ease of being able to text when I needed any items or had any issues arrise was great. We had some noisy neighbors and security was sent right away. Food and prices were great. We ran into one rude waitress at the restaurant.. some people are just miserable. I left it at that. Enjoy your tip or lack there of lol. The one downfall in my opinion, were some of the guests. Rude and inconsiderate, but it was busy season. Would definitely look for a resort that does not do timeshare presentations in the future.

In addition to the breakfast is quite rich, the other is really too general, the front desk's brother accent is very strange, the room is not soundproof, the name is very magic, in fact, it is still a common motel in the United States, and children are only because there are some simple children's play Facilities only

Superb, there are four rooms in the villa, the space is quite big, there is Wal-Mart nearby, you can buy things to eat yourself, more convenient than in the lobby, the hotel door can also park ~

Count your towels and wash rags when you get in. We had to buy more because they didnt have any to give us and we were told there was enough for 8 of us but there wasnt. Even with buying our children magic washrags from dollar tree we didnt have enough. They will not give you new towel and wash rags everyday you will need to wash them every day. Wouldnt have been bad if the dryer didnt take 2 hrs to dry.. They also did not have enough pool towels to give us. Thankfully my 5 brough our own but my in laws did not since the website says that pool towels are given for the pool. They do not wipe down the cabanas. They told us if we wanted to use them than we would have to wipe them down ourselves or take our chances. We got locked out of our room everyday. I also know that there was a lot of your rooms are not ready going on. I'm hoping they are just short staffed but it seemed to be the theme that week with everyone. We were lucky enough to get our room when we checked in. Also they said my card did not work when I used it at the pool bar just 20 min prior. They had me re do it with the same card and it worked. The townhouse itself was nice and big and we had enough room for all of us. I am not sure if this was recently bought and they are working the kinks out but they need to do better on their housekeeping and making sure they have enough towels and washrags for everyone. This place wont be my 1st choice..

Very nice and clean. Busy, but people seemed to keep to themselves. Pet friendly. We stayed in the 4000 building right near everything. We couldn't hear anything outside in the evening besides the occasional dog barking and we were next to the pirate pool. There was some construction going on. There's lots to do. Bummer that it's not all inclusive. Service is 50/50. I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot, but not being able to call or know who to call when something isn't working is annoying. We were automatically texted upon check in by a representative that was supposed to handle issues. She helped the first time with a door lock but went MIA after that. Be aware they really try to push buying a timeshare. Bonus, Walmart is directly across from the main entrance. Tip, if you are visiting Disney, that Walmart had a TON of Disney stuff for a fraction of the price at the parks.

Stayed there for a week at end July and highly recommend to anyone. All staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable and clean. It’s a short drive from Disney and perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy the theme parks and outlet malls and stay in a tranquil luxurious hotel away from the typically chaotic tourist hotels. The hotel smells beautiful. Only negative is views from the hotel room aren’t great but the service and quality of stay makes up for that. Would definitely return. Thanks to all the staff.
