The hotel decoration is cute. The host are very welcome and friendly. They came to pick me up and send me at Aniai Station. They also sent me to Ani Ski Resort and picked me up. The dinner is impressive.The room is clean and big with all facilities.

Pick-up transfer from Aniai station and to ani ski resort like a VIP trip(reserved advance 1 day). Dinner is traditional Japanese. Staff is so excellent and friendly with fluency English. I love this place if you want to go to Ani ski gondola  by luxurious trip … this hotel is very best choice.

This place takes a little getting used to. But it grew on me. Amazing meals was the highlight. The service was top notch. Questionable electric extensions all over made me nervous and lack of fire escape in the basement rooms (in winter with 15 feet of snow covering the window) also made me wonder "what if". Certainly not a modern building. But lots of people like the old and if you do, I'd ask for an upper bedroom. Can pretty much walk.out of the second story with how much snow was outside. Lots of interesting trinkets all.over the place.

On May 15th, my wife, my sister, and I stayed at this hotel. It's a modern building, and we had dinner with kiritanpo, mountain vegetable tempura, delicious sweetfish simmered in soy sauce, and other sashimi - we couldn't finish it all. The breakfast was also very varied and we were very satisfied. The female owner and her son were very kind. There was still snow at the base of Mt. Moriyoshi, so we were unable to take the gondola ride that opened on June 10th or explore the summit. However, when the mountain opens, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Sea of ​​Japan and the Pacific Ocean, and explore the alpine plants on Mt. Moriyoshi. In winter, we would like to take the gondola to see the frost-covered trees, second only to Zao.

There were few guests staying at the hotel because it was outside the ski season. There were no vacancies at any of the nearby accommodations. There was nothing around the hotel, so it was a bit lonely. The hotel has been open for over 30 years. Apparently they have been accepting dogs since the beginning. I stayed in a triple room on the second floor, and it was well-cleaned and clean. There was no large bath, just a unit bath. There was a shared shower toilet on the first floor. Dogs are generally not allowed in the dining room, but since there were only about four groups of guests staying at the hotel, we were able to bring them to a place away from the other guests. The food was mainly home-style cooking, but there was a wide variety of dishes and we were full. The hotel owner was friendly and easy to talk to. One thing that bothered me a little was that the hallway on the first floor of the hotel was packed with luggage, which seemed to make it difficult to move around. I think there is room for improvement in this area. It was also unfortunate that we were charged again when we checked out, even though we had paid in advance, and that we were served Japanese food for breakfast despite having requested Western food. There are no necessary items for dogs, so don't forget to bring them. The bread served at breakfast was freshly baked by the owner. I was surprised at how delicious it was. With this skill, I think he could run a bakery or make it a selling point for the hotel.
