"The room was spacious. It's connected to the terminal, so you don't have to go outside to get there. There's an Airport Express train to the city center that takes about half an hour. Getting to Disneyland is also convenient: just take the S1 bus from the hotel entrance to Tung Chung Station, then the MTR; the whole trip takes about an hour. Even though it's at the airport, the sound of planes taking off and landing isn't too loud."

"Regala Skycity Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Terminal 2 of Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport. The first free shuttle bus service starts at 6.15 am from the bus interchange at Terminal 2. Waiting bay is between lanes 9 and 11. Late check-out is allowed upon request until 1 pm. As my experience goes, there is no need to pay room deposit of HK$500 after paying for the room rate in full at Trip.com. If the guest chose to pay at the hotel, HK$500 which is roughly around S$83, is required. The hotel allows rooms for day use until 6 pm and room deposit is required. I chose to stay at Regala Skycity Hotel in order to review its rooftop as the hotel promotes the use of its rooftop for physical exercises and plane-spotting. The rooftop is above the twelfth floor, two fire doors up from the eleventh floor. On the rooftop, I can see jets flying towards the direction of the sea above the rooftop. If an aeroplane flies towards the airport in the opposite direction, plane-spotting can be done at the twelfth floor corridor end-window. It is amazing that jets can be seen flying towards the airport above the sea. Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1 and Regala Airport Hotel can also be noticed. Focal length is 200mm to 500mm. In the afternoon after check-out, I am grateful that the receptionist allows me to go up to the rooftop again for plane-spotting till sun set with out paying for a room for day use. About the small, comfortable room that I stayed, the garden view is not that magnificent. There are no trees fortunately. There are no bottles of mineral water in the room. Heat a kettle of water and pour the water into the hotel's glass bottle to drink later. About the shower room, the anti-slip mattress is available for use. The hotel restaurant serves complimentary breakfast with Hong Kong-style breakfast as the highlight. There is no American-style breakfast to eat. It is very expensive to stay in Regala Skycity Hotel but I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting if there were new airliners flying to the airport at the appropriate time."

"This is my go-to hotel for business trips. While the facilities are a bit dated, it's always spotlessly clean and hygienic. They even have a water purifier. The staff, from the front desk to the baggage handlers, are all incredibly warm, polite, patient, and thorough. Plus, dining and shopping options nearby are really convenient!"

"The hotel was clean and spacious, and I was very satisfied with the service. There are plenty of food options nearby, including various dim sum restaurants, Hong Kong-style cafes, and dessert shops. Shopping for groceries and fruits is also very convenient, with supermarkets just around the corner. It's also very close to the subway station, just a few minutes' walk, making it easy to get anywhere."

"This hotel is located near the Quarry Bay MTR station exit. There's construction going on nearby. I believe our room was the lowest-priced type, and as a mainland Chinese traveler, I spoke Mandarin at the front desk and the staff member replied in Mandarin as well. They assigned us room 1927 for check-in, but both key cards wouldn't work. We found a male hotel staff member, a middle-aged man, to explain the issue. He had a rather poor attitude. He couldn't get the door open either and then blamed us, saying we had demagnetized the key cards by keeping them near our phones. He then just left us there and went downstairs. After a while, he came back up and said there was an issue with the 1927 door and offered to switch us to room 1926 next door. He gave us the key card for 1926 and left again, without any further explanation or compensation. After entering 1926, we couldn't find any slippers. The plastic restriction policy doesn't include slippers, right? We called the hotel number registered with Ctrip and explained the problem. The customer service attitude wasn't great either. After waiting for a long time, a male staff member knocked on our door and brought us slippers. And it doesn't end there. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, but there was water pooling all around the base of the toilet; I'm not sure where it was leaking from. The disposable slippers are already very thin, and ours got soaked on the first night of our stay, and again the next morning. As I'm writing this, I just feel helpless; nothing about this stay was satisfactory."

"Struck gold with this Hong Kong hotel! Location, room, and service are all 10/10! 💯 Seriously, you have no idea how pleasantly surprised I was by the amount of space in this Hong Kong hotel room! It's super spacious; I could spread out all my luggage without feeling cramped. It completely shatters the stereotype of Hong Kong hotels being 'shoeboxes'~ The location is absolutely brilliant! The MTR station and tram stop are right outside. Shopping districts and popular attractions are within walking distance, and finding late-night food is incredibly convenient. Eating out and getting around were completely hassle-free. And the service? Heartwarmingly good! Check-in at the front desk was super fast, and the staff were gentle and patient. Any requests were attended to promptly, making the entire experience incredibly smooth. If you're visiting Hong Kong, just book this place without hesitation. The value for money is off the charts. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit! 🏨"

"The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the soundproofing in our room wasn't great. The staff at the executive lounge were very rude. We arrived late, and there was no food left, only tea and alcohol. Even though it was still 10 minutes before closing time, the staff member turned off the lights early. My two companions and I at the next table were all quite shocked by this. The photos are from a different hotel; we checked out and moved to another hotel the next day."

"The lounge was pretty good. The highlights were the breakfast and the afternoon tea with milk tea, which were excellent. The happy hour drinks were also great, though the caps on the sparkling wine were a bit tricky and could easily cut your hand. I stayed here over a decade ago and had a great impression of the housekeeping staff. This time was no different; the room was cleaned very thoroughly, and they were very nice. Jocelyn Xu at the executive floor check-in was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. Thumbs up! I'll definitely be back."

"The hotel location is good, nearby yau ma tei station. The surroundings got a lot of shops to eat. I stayed in 8 bed male dormitory for 7 days, the bed was clean and comfortable. There was a bathroom and a toilet within the room. Got provided hair dryer in the room. The toilet itself is small for me, the hot water needs maybe 10s or more to get heated. The hotel lobby is in level 2 and provided luggage storage. Also got fridge and table to eat on the floor, but not the room. The service staff are very friendly and the wifi is pretty fast. The bad side for me is just got 1 lift and sometimes need to wait if there are many people. Overall, it was a great stay for me and I recommend for those who want to look for budget hotel to stay!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the MTR station. There are tons of dining options nearby, many of which are open until the early hours of the morning. The front desk staff were also very accommodating. They even waived the deposit since I didn't have any Hong Kong dollars on me. It was New Year's Eve when I checked in, and the hotel even gave me chocolates, which was a lovely gesture. Much appreciated!"
