I arrived around 3 PM that day, and since it was winter break, some rooms weren't ready. To avoid delaying me, they gave me a free upgrade to a room in the old Jinling building. Although it's an older building, the room was bright, spacious, and had new facilities. The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from commercial complexes like Xinjiekou Deji. They even deliver food orders directly to your room. During my stay, Butler TuTu sent multiple reminders and asked for feedback, and even gave me a late checkout free of charge. They made us feel right at home. Next time I'm in Nanjing, I'll definitely choose this established brand again."

The front desk service is great; they respond immediately to any needs, and sometimes even offer free upgrades and complimentary breakfast. The hygiene is impeccable with no unpleasant odors, and the soundproofing is excellent. The breakfast has a wide variety, including noodles, whole grains, congee, milk, soy milk, desserts, stir-fries, several kinds of fruit, and both boiled and fried eggs. It's very convenient for getting around; the subway station is just a three-minute walk away. There are also many snack options, a cinema, and a shopping mall nearby. My whole family highly approves of this hotel."

"For this trip to Nanjing, I chose this hotel on Shanxi Road again. As soon as we entered the lobby, we could feel the staff's enthusiasm. Check-in at the front desk was very smooth, and they arranged our three rooms on the same floor, which was super convenient. The rooms are quite spacious, and the high-floor view is excellent; you can even see the river in the distance. It's right next to Yihe Road and the famous Pioneer Bookstore, which attracts a lot of visitors. The subway is also very convenient now, with Line 5 offering direct access. Getting around was easy. My friends all felt very satisfied with this stay. It's a hotel with a lot of character; there was even a New Year photo spot in the lobby, which was a nice touch."

The suite's design perfectly blended Jinling's charm with modern luxury: sleek new Chinese furniture, subtly integrated smart control systems, and a layout with a separate living room and bedroom that felt both open and private. My favorite feature was the circular bathtub by the window, offering panoramic lake views while soaking. Even the welcome fruit platter included a Yuhua tea-themed dessert, showcasing exquisite Jiangnan elegance in every detail. The hotel service was exemplary: the butler proactively confirmed our preferred routes, and during turn-down service, thoughtfully prepared the window-side daybed for enjoying the view. The 27th-floor executive lounge offered stunning vistas, and during Happy Hour, sipping champagne while gazing down at the ancient city created a particularly moving sense of past and present intertwining. The location was impeccable: within walking distance to Xuanwu Gate subway station, making it convenient to reach Fuzimiao or Xinjiekou. Morning jogs along the Ming City Wall and evening strolls on the lakeside boardwalk – staying here truly allowed us to experience the essence of 'Pearl of Jinling'. Special thanks to our butler Luanne for upgrading our room and arranging a late check-out, ensuring a perfect end to our trip. This wasn't just accommodation; it was a cherished Nanjing memory. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both scenic beauty and quality – you'll fall in love with waking up in such a picturesque setting."

"Traveled with friends and chose the Shangri-La Hotel. The stay was decent, but I highly recommend the Horizon Club Lounge buffet afternoon tea on the 40th floor. There's a great variety of pastries, and more importantly, the window seats offer amazing photo opportunities with panoramic views of Xuanwu Lake from above. On a clear day, the visibility is fantastic! If you're staying at the Shangri-La, the Horizon Club is a must-visit, it's awesome!"

"The underground parking lot is huge with two levels and even has charging stations, which is very convenient. The hotel's location is excellent, right by Xuanwu Lake. It's just a 10-minute walk to Yin Yue Men on the back side of Xuanwu Lake, simply crossing one intersection. The hotel is also very convenient for visiting Purple Mountain and the museums. Downstairs, there's a subway station, and it's only two stops to Hongshan Zoo. All the staff members are very friendly, especially Ella. It was a great experience."

"Extremely satisfied with Jumeirah Nanjing! This is my second stay here, and both times I've received a free room upgrade. This time, I was celebrating my birthday. I booked several days in advance, and the hotel not only upgraded my room but also decorated it for my birthday and even gave me a small cake. On the second day, they didn't call to remind me to check out until after 2 PM. Overall, the experience was excellent! I'll definitely stay here again. The price isn't expensive at all, truly fantastic value for money. The only reason I docked a point for service was during checkout. There was a man standing inside the corner near the front desk on the 41st floor, and I found him very strange. I don't understand why he was standing there. If it was to better assist guests or guide them, he should have a more natural expression and just nod and smile when he sees guests, instead of staring intently. At first, I thought he was a guest, but then I realized he was a staff member. Later, I saw him again after getting off the elevator, and he was still acting the same way. If he can't nod and smile, he should just stand there naturally. I looked at him, and he even disdainfully rolled his eyes. I mean, sir, do you even know you're working? Do you think you're some kind of statue just standing there?"

As soon as I stepped through the door, the winding garden path caught my eye, with meticulously trimmed bonsai and blooming roses around every corner. In the evening breeze, I could even smell osmanthus, making it feel like I was staying in a traditional Jiangnan courtyard. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the sheets and duvet covers felt fresh and sun-dried, the desk and windowsill were spotless, and there were no water stains on the bathroom glass door. Even the toiletries were arranged as neatly as in a show flat. Monica's attentive service was incredibly warm; she even helped guide me to my room upon arrival. The room facilities were also comprehensive, with high-speed WiFi and an HD TV readily available. The bedside USB charging port and night light were particularly well-designed and thoughtful. Here, you can enjoy both the tranquil elegance of the garden and a clean, comfortable living experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Confucius Temple and Bailuzhou Park, making it super convenient for getting around. It's also very close to the subway station. The room was great, and the front desk staff were really lovely. The lobby has a charming, vintage feel. There's a big, beautiful outdoor terrace too. It recently snowed in Nanjing, and the light dusting of snow made everything look so pretty. Highly recommend!"
