"I recently stayed at the Marriott Executive Apartments, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I booked through Trip.com, which clearly stated that all guests from all regions and countries are welcome. However, upon arrival, the hotel failed to inform me of a discriminatory local policy that caused significant problems during my stay. Late at night, the police came into my room unannounced, creating a highly stressful and uncomfortable situation for both me and my partner. This was not only an invasion of privacy but also caused emotional distress. At no point during booking or check-in did the hotel provide any disclaimer or warning about such policies that could affect guests. For a global brand like Marriott, I expected professionalism, transparency, and care for guests’ safety and dignity. Instead, I felt misled and unsupported. If the hotel is aware of restrictions that may impact certain guests, they should be upfront about it before booking, not leave travelers to face such distressing surprises. I will not be staying here again and cannot recommend this property to others. Clear communication and respect for guests are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel failed on both."

"The hotel's location is excellent. While claiming a five-minute walk to District 1 might be a slight exaggeration, it's certainly no more than ten minutes away. We spent most of our two days exploring District 1; it's so extensive, we barely scratched the surface. The room amenities were sufficient and perfectly met the needs of our family of three. We particularly appreciated how quiet it was and the comfortable pillows, which were crucial for a good night's sleep. It's a short distance from Santing Road Night Market and World Yiwu, and taxis are easily accessible. There are also many great dining options nearby. The staff were incredibly warm and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast was clean, hygienic, and offered a decent variety. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with children planning to explore the trade city. Five stars!"

"This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the trade city, with malls and unique restaurants all around. It was super easy to get back after an evening of shopping. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was great, and the separate wet/dry bathroom design was a thoughtful touch. The soundproofing was also excellent, so I got an undisturbed night's sleep. The front desk staff, particularly Ella, Eileen, and Alice, were so warm and welcoming. They proactively recommended local hidden gems and gave tips to avoid tourist traps, and even helped with luggage storage. Their attention to detail was top-notch. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted authentic. The value for money is absolutely amazing – I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!"

"We stay a few times in this hotel. When ever we come to Yiwu, we will sure to choose this hotel. Very convenient and near to international trade place. Now it has re-renovate their lobby and looks even more cozier. They have a small cafe area, we sit outside the small chair and chitchatting and enjoy the evening timing. They had employ a robot for delivery food to our room too :) The buffet breakfast really has a lot of variety, there are employees serving hot noodle soup and freshly fry eggs and dumpling. Whenever we came back to this hotel, we feel the friendliness of all employees especially one of the uncle who the call ”大叔“ He always smiling and humble, very helpful in almost every things. We are so happy to see him, like a long time friend. This hotel is so far the best hotel that we have stay in China, with their services and friendly attitude. Highly recommended for this hotel !!"

"When I booked, I saw two bad reviews and felt a little uneasy. But when I checked in, I found that the two bad reviews might be more suitable for hotels or hotel-style B&Bs. It's like when you go to a folk music bar and ask for Japanese or British style decoration and cocktails, then there must be a gap. This time I brought my children to stay and the experience was particularly great. The first is that it is pet-friendly. The boss has a cute and docile puppy, Gou, as well as parrots, turtles and carp. For children who can't keep pets at home, their hearts are simply melting. Secondly, the layout of the yard, the small bridge and the flowing water, the construction of several small sitting scenes, and the small objects on the side of the path are all very clever and very photogenic. As for the room, although there are indeed some small problems in terms of hygiene, they are by no means an aspect that affects the stay and sleep. The balcony is very large and comfortable. As for smoking, the degree of freedom given is very high. The main room is up to the guests, and non-smokers will not smell anything. The only problem is that the air conditioner seems to be out of service for cooling or heating. However, for the current climate, it is suitable for us not to turn on the air conditioner. The B&B provides a nine-square breakfast. The homemade soy milk is very mellow. It should be suitable to pretend to be petty bourgeoisie. The front desk turns into a bar counter at night. The boss will mix drinks for guests. The ice cubes are also made by himself. It is much more formal and professional than using machine-made hollow ice. The overall atmosphere is still folk music. You can roll the dice. If you have friends who play music, they should be able to entertain themselves. I saw that the boss also has a guitar. There is also hand-brewed coffee available. It is sold by pot. One pot is about one cup for two people. Overall, it was a very satisfactory stay. When I left, the children were very reluctant to leave, hahaha"
