"Okay hotel but 2 things i did not like. The road to it is closed which results in a 10 minute round drive to reach it and the balcony could not be closed! So basically everybody can enter from the balcony! Didn't feel safe 100%"

"I’m staying for three days, and I’m a bit torn about it. Let’s start with the cons: 1. The room is small and a bit dated, and it could really use a makeover inside. 2. The shower drain in the bathroom is clogged, so if you shower and water splashes into the toilet, it won’t drain because it’s stuck there. 3. The walkway can be a bit bumpy if you’re staying near the beach, so it might not be the best option for seniors or people with mobility issues. 4. It’s a bit of a trek from the city center, so you’ll need to rent a car. Now, the pros: 1. The service is amazing, and the staff are super friendly! 2. They have their own bar and restaurant at a reasonable price. Plus, they offer motorcycle rentals, kayaking, snorkeling gear, and laundry services. 3. It’s absolutely beautiful! The views are incredible! This is their own private beach, and almost every corner is perfect for Instagram."

"The hotel doesn't quite live up to a 5-star rating. However, it does have pleasant grounds, two pools, and a restaurant. The breakfasts are decent, with a good variety on offer, but they're rather uninspired and not particularly delicious. On the plus side, the coffee is good. The cocktails at the bar during the day were disappointing (we tried a Piña Colada once and weren't tempted to order another). A major highlight is the excellent direct beach access with sun loungers. The beach itself is fantastic. We were very pleased to see security on the beach who also helped set up umbrellas and arrange sun loungers. There's also a staff member with a first aid kit to treat cuts from corals – a very thoughtful touch (which we actually needed assistance with). Among the obvious drawbacks, the soundproofing in the rooms is extremely poor. We ended up with noisy neighbors who were also smoking ******** on their balcony (though it's legalized in Thailand). As a result, our room smelled terrible, and the noisy parties made it impossible for us to relax. On the bright side, when we reported this to reception, they immediately gave us a key to another room so we could get some much-needed sleep there, which we did. In terms of service, the hotel staff deserves a 5/5. Housekeeping and room comfort would get a 3/5 each, and breakfasts a 4/5. Overall, I'd give it a four out of five."

"After arriving later than expected we got a friendly welcome. The corner room we had on the first floor was amazing, very spacious with a lovely balcony you could sit out on. The hot pastry I had for breakfast was scrummy and could be taken to my room. The hotel is on a fairly busy road with a building site further up, you could hear work but this didn't bother us. Bare in mind that the hotel is NOT staffed during the night! Would recommend this hotel."

"Very nice stay, the hotel is off the beaten path, with very small private beach. 10 minutes walk to lamai beach. Very clean and beautiful room, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Nice pools. The breakfast was good, with both buffet and a la carte, quick service. Staff was lovely. The food was not really an highlight tho, would recommend going to the small town."

"Not a bad hotel for the money, we lived on the first floor, we almost never turned on the air conditioner because it was quite cold and so ... the breakfast is ordinary, there is not enough good coffee ... the location is convenient, everything you need is nearby. The staff is friendly, cleaning is regular"

"Code Samui Hotel ⭐️ Rating: 10/10 Room: 209 This hotel was a real discovery for us on Samui. So much so that I want to recommend it without reservation – understanding that no place is truly perfect, but our experience here was as close to ideal as possible. We stayed in room 209 – large, spacious, and very clean. Its main advantage was direct access to a viewing platform with comfortable sofas and a gas fireplace. It's a special treat: an evening with a sea view, tranquility, and a feeling of privacy. A truly atmospheric place where you just want to be. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool, a gym, as well as a sauna and a hammam – all well-maintained, clean, and genuinely used, not just for show. It’s great to be able to combine relaxation, activity, and rejuvenation. A definite plus is the on-demand shuttle service: they'll take you to the main road, the beach, or 7-Eleven. Very convenient, especially given the hotel's elevated location. For me, it was important that the hotel had a space for yoga and the opportunity to create content with a sea view. The location and energy of the place perfectly facilitate this – quiet, spaciousness, and panoramic views. Breakfasts were a separate delight. They were truly delicious, high-quality, and offered a good selection. Not just ”okay,” but the kind you look forward to in the morning. If I were to mention things that could be improved (more as wishes than complaints): I'd like to see more hooks in the bathroom for towels and bathrobes; the power outlets – my iPhone charger sometimes falls out and disconnects periodically; the air conditioning in the room was quite noisy – perhaps it needs servicing or replacement. However, none of these points spoiled the overall impression or affected our desire to return here again. Conclusion: Code Samui is a place for those who value space, tranquility, views, quality service, and ambiance. We were absolutely delighted. A well-deserved 10 out of 10."
