Beautiful place…Excellent customer service,it was vey refreshing to stay here,please don’t hesitate,the staff will make you feel at home and everyone is very warm.The rooms are very clean and feels like home away from home.I am definitely coming back to this hotel.

Amazing hotel with the most amazing and polite staff I’ve ever experienced ☺️ We felt like kings there . Very spoiled ☺️The food was beyond expectations, such a delicious dishes I’ve never tasted such a good coffee The room was very clean and luxury .

A nice resort with a beautiful beach and ocean. It was great that we could rent windsurfing equipment for free and also a kanue. All of the staff were always very friendly and you will always be greeted with „Jambo“ and a smile. If a problem accrued (AC broke down) it got fixed right away. The food in the resort was always good and the Menu changed frequently. Cocktails, drinks and water were always delivered even though we were close to the beach and a few meters away from the bar. In the resort we were able to book trips to different locations all over Zanzibar. We had always nice trip guides and the drivers were always very kind. Overall this was a vacation on a beautiful island my girlfriend and I were not left open with any wishes. A perfect place to spend your holiday!

Amazing hospitality, great service. Was happy that the service teams remembered my name and recognized I was a repeat guest. My family received wonderful kingly service. Beautiful clean beach with no disturbance from people, we enjoyed our beach walks, swim and kayaking in peace. Tasty meals, great selections and variety, very fresh fruits and juices. I was fully cared as I have a sensitive tummy and food allergies. We loved the themed dinners. Enjoyed our relaxing and beauty sleep on the big comfy beds with cozy plush fluffy pillows. It was my 3rd stay at Bluebay and I still can't get enough of it. For sure I will visit again and again! Thanks to the management for having diligent team members who exceeded our expectations. The staff offer an true African hospitality. Amazing that the GM is always available for all guests. I appreciate Dass, Aldonis, Jimmy, Christabell, Aziz and all made our stay special. It was best holiday ever!

We had the best time ever. Nice people, really delicious food (lots of fish, seafood), the most beautiful beach and garden full with palm trees. Nice bar with a lot of cocktails, Mawimbi Cooler and Island Sunset were our favourites. 😉 They surprised my friend with a cake, a lovely song and a bouquet of flowers on her birthday. Perfect holiday destination, would come back anytime. (Annamaria, Dominika)

The magic begins as soon as you step out of the airport. I was received by Hajji the hotel's driver who helped me with baggage and even had a refreshing cold wet towel and drinking water in the vehicle. On departure, I was driven by Makame who also did an excellent job. At the hotel, the reception team led by Makui & the ever smiling Saadia, was efficient and friendly. The room was spacious, and well equiped with AC, TV, electronic safe, tea station and the biggest bed I have ever seen! There was also a balcony with a nice view, overlooking the gardens and on to the blue ocean. I know from the room information that my housekeeper was called Hellen, but she was so professional, that I never saw her. Whenever I went out for breakfast, I would find the room spotlessly cleaned, whenever I came back from dinner, the turn down was done. Food was great, with the option of two restaurants. I always had my meals at Makuti Restaurant. The manager is called Jimmy and he will always have a nice table set out for you. Buffet was well thought out with different options, Tausi and the other waiters were quick and friendly. There is great entertainment every night, from live band to acrobats and maasai dances. I had amazing ice cream and delicious cakes at the blue deli, expertly run by a warm lady called Sauda. The beach is beautiful, blue water and white sands as far as the eye can see. I walked as far as I wanted on either direction with no harassment from beach boys. The locals were all respectful and friendly. There's a watersports centre with paddleboards, kayaks and windsurfing equipment at no extra cost. I took out a paddleboard, and the equipment was well maintained and of good quality. I recommend a trip to Stonetown, which can be arranged by the reception. Overall, this hotel is perfectly managed by Mr Dass Bangar, the ever smiling group General Manager who always takes time to meet and talk to guests. He has cultivated the personalized environment of a boutique hotel, even though Blue Bay is a big hotel. Nothing feels rushed, the staff know you by name and even remember small details like how you like your tea. I can't wait to be back.

We ejoyed very much our stay here. The hotel is very beautifully situated, like if it was in paradise, and the stuff is very friendly. In the bathroom there is something that needs fixing, such as bidee and showers floor outlet, which didn’t work properly.

Friendly staff- delicious food-very clean rooms and amenities. I fell in love with the place and i recommend people to book at this hotel, Dass the manager is an amazing professional guy

One of the kindest and sweetest staff. The mornings the good nights were lovely, the staff is always smiling and supporting you in everything you’d ever need! Special thanks to Dass who went above and beyond to always make us feel comfortable and satisfied. The rooms, the views are absolutely stunning.
