Hotels in Kluang with Swimming Pools

Very convenient location, Kluang street art and rail station coffee is about 10 to 15 walk from hotel. Highly recommend the star restaurant which is just next to the hotel, the food there is really tasty and good service! The nearby Coffeeshop is new and clean and has a good varieties of selection.

Frankly, I think I gotten the room at a good bargain. However, rest assured that I will also always check on the room photos and details prior to any booking (yes, irregardless of the price). 1) Room booked is not as how decent, how clean it is as showed in the booking site, Agoda.com. 2) Received the 1st room, checked in, rather dirty and certainly not well maintained - stained walls, hair on the bed, dusty bedside table, no closet and no hangers, no bedroom slippers or towel. Upon checking with the staff, was told some of the items will only be provided upon request ; some doesn't come with it at all. 😂 Most interesting is, the staff mentioned he has no idea what is being showed on booking site! Guess what, my better half is thinking if I've booked a quick hotel. 😅 3) Well, managed to get the room changed. Seems better but well, below expectation for a so called 3 star hotel as per booking site. Huge patch of water leaking marks on the ceiling, semi-broken window blinds, etc. 4) Service level - the guy is working alone, all alone for the night. Well, doesn't seems too cheerful but at least helpful in changing the room. Overall, the hotel is kinda run down. Don't be conned by photos unless you really don't mind. I would really compliment on the nice and clean lobby but certainly not on the others, including the musky carpet along the corridor. My advise is twice twice when you make a booking. All depends if you are looking for a cheap room (so long there's a bed) or cheap quality hotel rooms. I do hope the hotel manager/ owner can really improve the hotel standards. By the way, why would there be an astray if smoking is not permitted in the room? Isn't it funny? Well.. That's just how Merdeka Hotel is.

For the price, this place exceeded my expectations. It is functional, and fulfills all the requirements of a simple hotel: - The room amenities are adequate for our family and we were able to find most of the things we needed within the room. - We booked the family room, and it was spacious - definitely adequate for a family with two adults and two children. - It is also relatively clean and we felt comfortable in the room and the hotel. - The staff members we encountered during our stay were also friendly and helpful. This included the security officer who helped us with securing a parking spot for our car. The only drawback was that the sound insulation was somewhat weak. We could hear conversations from our neighbours, and there was also plenty of noise coming in from the streets. Overall good value for the price. We probably will look at this hotel again the next time we are in Kluang.

beautiful room design and have the individual room unique. but sadly unable to enjoy the swimming pool due to the maintenance is in progress before the covid 19. it would be great if the room is provide extra 1 more mirror in the room instead only available in the bathroom which abit inconvenient for lady who need to do the makeup. the room cleaner seem like only 1 person to do the job, but we need to wait for 1 hour later which is exactly on 3pm to do the room cleanup, although the check in time is 3pm. Hope the room cleaning process will prioritize to the room which has the next guess availability. Also do hope the villa will also do take care and clean the carpet as and when it needed for the cleanliness.

The bedroom is good but the air conditioner is not functioning properly... It's very hot ... If I move doing things or packing my bag... Sweats on my forehead dripping.. like staying in Sauna room... Overall the room the service is okay.. but you can do better for air conditioners

Pro: 1. Location - Great location. Middle of Kluang Town. Everything close by. 2. Parking by coupon where you can get at nearest stall or distributor. Consider cheap 3. Comfortable and nice mattress Con: 1. Non Smoking room smell smoke. Really annoying 2. Broken lamp. I don't bother to ask for different room, not worth my time. But because of this, the room only has 30% light 3. Slippery bathroom. This is not a joke. Really slippery 4. Soundproof really bad. I can hear bird outside, rain on top of ac unit outside the room.

Clean, no weird smell, bad sound proof & strategic. Nearby to kluang parade mall (heard it will be closing down soon). Further down there is kluang mall. Beside hotel there are durian stall & lok lok stall which open in the evening. Walking distance around 2-3 minutes to bus station and there is 7 11 convenient store. Take grab to kluang mural art, railway coffee shop and raiway station. However if you know the direction to walk, both mural art wall painting and railway coffee shop is reachable by foot.

My friends and I spent a short weekend holiday. The room was big and clean. Friendly front desk service. The building is close to shopping centers and food courts. We had a pleasant short holiday. I would book this hotel again.
