The local mosquitoes are quite common, so the rooms are covered with mosquito nets. It's best to buy mosquito spray at 7-Eleven. It's also best to book an air-conditioned room, which eliminates the mosquitoes. On our last day, the owner actually upgraded us to an air-conditioned room, which was a real bonus!
