The most breathtaking part of my stay at Akira was undoubtedly opening the balcony door to find the hotel's iconic 100-meter pool almost at my feet. The azure water seamlessly merged with the beach just a few steps away, inviting me to jump in for a swim at any moment – an unparalleled feeling of connection and freedom. Waking up, I enjoyed a plentiful breakfast right at the poolside restaurant. The Pad Thai and freshly made omelets were delicious, and with the pool and sea views right in front of me, the holiday vibes were instantly maximized. While the room itself was a bit minimalistic, this unique 'pool-just-outside-my-window' experience is reason enough to visit again.

Been here since 2019 and services are still top-notch. Friendly staffs. Delicious food good quality and reasonable price compared to others restaurants around the island. Comfortable stayed.

Fantastic hotel, right on Pattaya beach. Three swimming pools, the pool access rooms were such a luxury and the pool nearer the beach was great for the swim up bar! Breakfast had a wide range of options for Westerners and Chinese (our family) of different ages. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times, also really good food. Service fantastic, from the guy collecting our bags off the boat to the hotel reception and everyone you come across. Would highly recommend, especially if you have young kids, very accommodating.

Very friendly staff , nice and clean environment. Nice food for alarcarte order , buffet breakfast have variety choices and delicious. My gal love the room with pool acces. The beach is so nice!

This was my second trip to Koh Lipe, and I chose Akira again. The room wasn't damp, and they provided mosquito coils. There weren't many mosquitoes during the day, but I noticed some on the balcony at night. If you're worried about mosquitoes, I'd recommend booking a second-floor room and avoiding the villas, as the villa area has a lot of them. The poolside rooms also don't have many mosquitoes. The breakfast selection was a bit smaller compared to two years ago, but it was still delicious. I made sure to have a cup of Thai tea every day, and the noodles were also good. This time, I stayed in both a Superior Pool View Room and a Deluxe Pool View Room. Both rooms could comfortably accommodate two adults and two children. We were too lazy to go out for lunch, so we often ate at the hotel. It cost 80 baht more to have food delivered to the room than to eat at the restaurant. Also, don't order the kids' meals – the portions are tiny! Their tomato spaghetti is excellent and very authentic. Dinner was also delicious. The sand right in front of the hotel is incredibly fine, like flour, and there are no boats obstructing the view. It's about 150 meters from the pier, and you can even see clownfish and various triangular fish while snorkeling right outside the hotel. At low tide, you can find starfish. The hotel offers free life vests, but they don't have suitable sizes for children, so if you have extra luggage space, I'd suggest bringing your own.

An unexpected surprise! The room was great, with the pool right outside the window. The water was very clean and the view was excellent; you could see a beautiful sea view from the pool. The resort's location is super convenient, right along Pattaya Beach and very close to Walking Street, which is a big plus. The front desk staff were also very friendly.

The hotel is pretty good, and the breakfast is decent. The Thai milk tea is delicious, and they have a singer performing in the evenings.

Great room layout, clean and hygienic. The beach right in front is incredibly soft, like powder. The service was excellent, and the bar had a fantastic atmosphere. Plus, they had a buy-one-get-one-free cocktail happy hour from 4 to 8 PM!

Good location, nice hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is new. The staff picked up and dropped off us in the pier. The breakfast is 5/5. We can only recommend this place.

Hotel with low expectation. The workers were not very friendly. Only some of them. The room was ok. Nice. But lot of mosquitoes. The Air condition was making some noise. The worst: WIFI. In all hotel. Very bad and not good quality. The room was nice and well equipes. We had a villa. Close to the beach. But the beach is not very good. Many boats. The breakfast was good and varied. The coffee horrible. ( powder). The restaurant at evening was very very bad. We couldn way good as the pad Thai was not good. We saw many tourists leaving a lot of food in their dishes. Only good was the happy hour drinks and the singers. The lady singing was nice and the ambient was brilliant. A shame but I come not back again.

Very good, you get what you pay for. The environment is like a beautiful garden. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. They offer shuttle service to the pier, and the breakfast is also excellent. Plus, there are two swimming pools. Excellent overall!

The shower head was completely black after just two uses. There were yellow stains on the bed sheets. The hotel beach has coral and small fish, and it's very close to the Walking Street. Food at the hotel is much more expensive than on Walking Street. They charge extra for children aged 4 and above. The swimming pool is large and clean.

This was the worst hotel of our trip, definitely avoid the villa rooms. The water pressure in the villa was extremely low, making it almost unusable. The villa was surrounded by trees, leading to swarms of mosquitoes. In the morning, while just sitting on the toilet, I killed over a dozen mosquitoes in a few minutes – it was that bad. It's too close to the beach restaurant, so the music at night was very loud. The phone also kept ringing intermittently at night, which was really eerie, so I just unplugged it. The most frustrating part came at dinner in the hotel restaurant. The bill was 1220, and I gave the waitress 1520 in cash. Instead of going to the cashier, she took the money and walked straight to a table in the complete opposite direction, miles away, to take another order, showing no intention of bringing back my change. I had to call her back multiple times just to get her to verify the cash.
