5/ 5PerfectWonderful hotel. Nothing less than what I'd expect from Japan. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. They let us store our bags before the room was ready and gave us some water. The room was really clean and the bathroom was large for Japanese standards. The view was beautiful from our room. Also the hotel has a great bar/restaurant at the top with an even better view. A hidden gem! See the attached pics The location is also great. It's right above Shin-Kobe station which is so convenient. Also next to the hotel is the cablecar that takes you up the mountain to the Nunobiki herb garden. I had no idea what this was until I stayed at the hotel. My friend and I checked it out and it was actually really cool, highly recommend! I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Kobe.

3.2/ 5Hotel was up to my expectations, but nothing more. Staff was courteous as to be expected in Japan. My room was smaller than I expected, but it was fine as I booked a single room. Overall, no surprises either positive or negative.
