Due to special circumstances, we negotiated a check-out through Ctrip and uploaded our voucher, but the host still refused. It was completely unsympathetic. After much deliberation, we finally arrived at the hotel and finally understood why the owner wouldn't let us check out. He was just trying to screw over anyone he could. It's hard to imagine accommodations like this in Japan. The room was old, small, and dingy, and the check-in process was a complete mess. It was the worst night I'd ever had in Japan.

A very nice hotel, located on a hill, with a wonderful view from our second-floor room. The room itself was spacious and very clean. The hotel offers several free visits to the gold and silver onsen, as well as plenty of disposable shampoos, towels, and other toiletries. There's a delicious steak restaurant on the ground floor. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to our friends!

We arrived after dark, so the roads were narrow and very difficult to find. Please be careful if you are going by car late at night. I was planning a solo trip to Arima Onsen, and a fellow traveler had told me about this inn. It was relatively inexpensive, so I wondered what kind of inn it would be, but it was clean and comfortable. It's located in the center of Arima Onsen, and a great place to visit Kin-no-yu and Gin-no-yu. I didn't use the restaurant. Everything you need is provided, and there's even a microwave, so you can easily heat up something. However, it was very difficult to find by car. Car navigation systems are also unreliable. I wouldn't recommend it for large vehicles (number 3). I honestly recommend parking in a nearby parking lot.
