The room is clean and the facilities are adequate. Taiko Onsen is nearby, very convenient. But the only problem is that you have to be mentally prepared if you want to walk up, as it is a relatively long slope. The breakfast is delicious and worth buying.

I was looking for a hostel in Arima Onsen where I could stay reasonably. In conclusion, it was good value for money and I had a good stay to enjoy the hot springs!

There may be cases where you have to check in by yourself. Please note that there may be cases where advance notice has not been received. The building is very nice. The switches, fixtures, and hand basins are stylish. The slippers and hand soap are well-thought-out. The location is fun, like a secret base. There are steep stairs like a ladder. It's by the river, so it's cold by the windows. There are lockers with doors, but no keys, so please bring a lock. There are security cameras, so it's safe. Be careful when the cafe in the building is closed. The only facilities are a microwave, a kettle, and a refrigerator. There are no dishes. The only places to buy food are two convenience stores in front of the station, up the hill. There are snacks in the hot spring town, but there are not many restaurants, and both close early. There are a few izakayas.

The location is a bit hard to find. The navigation has reached the destination, but I just can't find it. It turns out that it is in a very narrow alley with a very small door and no signs. I finally found it. The hostel environment is okay. When I checked out the next day, I found that the address and location are actually quite good. It is very close to Kobe Sannomiya Station. It should be because it is the weekend and the holiday is also very expensive.

I stayed for multiple nights, but only one towel and toothbrush was provided. If that's the case, they should have given me a discount for multiple nights, but they don't even make the beds, so it's not worth the trouble. If it's the same price for each night, they should have given me towels, toothbrushes, and made the beds each time I checked out, so I'm not happy! All the staff were very friendly and I liked them. I also felt uncomfortable seeing foreign men wandering around in just their underwear. I wish they'd put up signs like in other dorms.

The location of the hotel is suitable for a day trip to Arima hot springs, but not suitable for a day trip to Kobe because Arima is far away from Kobe. It's similar to a B&B version of a capsule hotel, without laundry facilities. The environment is good, the restaurant has a mountain view, and the overall place is clean and tidy. But once the check-out time is over, even in the open lobby, they will actively urge you to leave. Perhaps due to differences in service awareness or cultural habits, this kind of situation is relatively rare when traveling to other places.

It's a hotel deep in the mountains, 12 minutes' walk from JR, but the surrounding environment is beautiful. It's right by the river. You can fall asleep listening to the running water. The coffee is delicious and the meals are available.
