This is our 2nd time to stay in okura and as expected i love this place and the staff is amazing. We definitely stay here again

Hotel Okura is very prestigious place with Japanese emperor frequently visited. One of the big conglomerates Pre world war 2. 1 year ago, Japanese emperor had visited Okura Kobe. However, it has been subpar to say the least and overpriced. Cleanliness (Stains in a lot of spots) As you can see from the photo. There were stains at bathtub. When I asked the front, they said it is inevitable due to how long it has been used. Even the washroom inside Okura had stains and dust, which is very concerning considering it’s price point Location (Good for sea views but bad for tourism, walking and traveling) The location for sea view is amazing and it’s near haborland and BeKobe. However, Meriken-Oriental park also offer the same sea view + direct port for ferry with same price point and better cleanliness. The big problem with its location is it is far from everywhere else. Some tourist spots such as Kitano Ijinkan, sanomiya city center, waterfalls and herb garden. The JR is at Shin-Kobe which is around 15min taxi. Walking is pain the ass, as front entrance is only for cars, in order to walk, you need to go through one of the three sub-entrances, which requires you taking elevator or walking stairs The location is not bad but there are hotels with better location such as ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe. Directly under the shinkansen, 5 min walk (one street) from kitano ijikan and one straight line to waterfall and herb garden. The service was also fantastic. Service (Amazing, but can’t really speak English) The only thing going for the hotel with this price point was its service. Everyone was really kind and helpful, very professional. I have seen several times staffs were struggling with English speakers but aside it’s amazing. Amenities. (It got the regular stuff but lacking minor stuff like weight scale, free newspaper etc which gets offered at same price point)

We took room with a view on floor 33 . The view is good . Room carpet was really dirty we asked to change room and they say since it is fully booked they can just try to clean - after cleaning it was better but still some big stains where there

The hotel offers a spectacular view and the food is commendable. While it isn't close to the city center, the parking is reasonably priced, making it ideal for self-driving family trips. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel location and amenties are excellent, so well situated to other locations. shopping centres and eateries are well within reach and convenient. Hotel's morning breakfast was well spread and good. The staff was very helpful with my concern. Great hotel to visit again for my next visit.

Average standard vs other Okura hotels. A bit old and 10 min walk from city center. But quite affordable price

Superb concierge and all staffs service. Truly helpful and we really appreciate the outstanding service of all the crew. Big scale hotel in Kobe. A bit date for its 30s years history of the hotel yet very clean and comfortable. Amenities and facilities are really good. Kids playground, indoor golf, gym, Japanese garden, shops, parking, restaurants, and etc. Breakfast buffet also worth the pay. Another plus point is that there is pet hotel in the area outside main building. Location is prime, just few steps to port area and BeKobe. During our stay, there is Kobe hanabi festival and the location of our hotel is the most benefit. Indoor parking with fee.

I enjoyed the stay here, like its location and views, I’ll choose this hotel again next time

I was so pleased with the service offered prior to arriving and on site. The room was so comfortable with a full size bath tub too and super hot water

it's outstanding, since I'm traveling w/ infant the hotel staff assists us immediately upon descending fr; our taxi...plan of staying again soon.

Location is perfect because the hotel have shuttle bus to JR station . Also the hotel is closed to harbor area which have lots of shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to any tourist visit Kobe .
