I visited this hotel as a place to stay while traveling.
Apart from the location, it was honestly the worst...
First of all, it was hard to find the parking lot.
Even if I asked my companion where it was, they didn't even give me any directions.
They just said, "It's on the west side."
Don't they usually guide me to some extent?
Even if I managed to park, I couldn't get my car out once I parked.
I was worried, but they said, "It's first come, first served, so if someone else parks there, please use another paid parking lot."
I hurriedly parked...
When I entered the room, there was a continuous banging noise from the upper floor.
When I asked the front desk, they said, "A large family with many children has come."
That can't be helped, but because of the previous incident,
I was starting to get quite anxious at this point...
I was able to make a reservation for breakfast the next day between 7:00 and 8:30.
I chose the latest time of 8:30.
The salt on the table at the prepared seat was empty.
On top of that, they started calling me on the internal line, saying, "We're preparing miso soup for two more people."
Huh? They purposely made it the latest time, and what were you doing before then? Were you sleeping?
While we were eating, they started clearing away the dishes of those who had finished eating, making a lot of clattering noises. To top it off, an employee sat in an empty seat and started reading the newspaper.
When I finally went to the front desk to leave this hell,
"Parking will cost 800 yen."
Huh? If that's the case, you should have explained that from the beginning.
There's a parking lot right in front of me that costs about 450 yen a day and you can enter and exit as you like.
What is the parking space for?
It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life...
I'll never stay here again. It was a horrible hotel that could lower the quality of my trip.

The exterior of the hotel was under repair and there was a net over it so we couldn't see outside, which was a shame.

The queen size bed was very good. It was within walking distance to Hirome Market and Sunday Market. There is a 7-Eleven right in front of the hotel, which is convenient. Don't expect too much from the bath.

Conveniently located in front of the station. The view from the upstairs bath is nice. Breakfast was also delicious. I will use it again.
This hotel is in a great location, especially to the train station and shops. The concierge gave a professional and friendly welcome. The room I had (on the 4th floor, corner overlooking the street) was very appointed and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, making for a nice sleep and restful stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend if you're visiting Kochi city.

Had a very pleasant stay here. Large rooms which is rare in Japan and excellent layout. Canal views from the balcony were very nice. Location is excellent - comfortable walking distance from Kochi station, Kochi castle and all the eating and shopping places. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (specially the western menu) can be improved upon.

I stayed one night in a quad room that was 32m2, 2 twin beds and 3 futons available. Check in staff was able to speak English, very helpful. The staff were helpful in directing us to carpark just next to hotel on a little lane. Parking was ¥800 per night. Public baths were decent, not large, but it wasn’t overly crowded. Breakfast was great, I didn’t expect it to be kaiseki style but it was:) Lots of eateries around the hotel. Hirome Market is about 1km away.

I used it on the first day of the tour. JR station and convenience stores are nearby. A large Japanese-style room with a bed, and a separate toilet and sink. There was a large long table and sofa. There are also many electrical outlets. The room has been renovated and is very clean. There is a large public bath on the top floor. The floor of the bath is tatami mats (apparently for the bath). I had a relaxing Japanese set meal both in the evening and in the morning. There is only one elevator, so it can get crowded at certain times. I had emailed them a few days ago asking them to lend me a desk lamp, humidifier, and air purifier if they had them, but they hadn't replied or prepared anything, so I went to borrow the humidifier at night. When I asked if they had received my email, they said, "I don't know because I'm on the night shift." Is there a lack of communication?
