Fragrant Nature Kochi - A Five Star Classified Hotel

Kochi|1.1km from Chinese Fishing Nets
Fragrant Nature,Fort Kochi was an incredible find .. The hotel is stylish, oozes comfort and the bedrooms are beautiful.. From the minute you arrive, the reception staff ..Sandra, Naveen and others were a delight.. organised, efficient and very welcoming , offering helpful information about the surrounding area and what to visit. Advising you the hotel does afternoon tea on the terrace and a cookery lesson with the chef -all complimentary .. Believe me worth the visit. Nothing was too much trouble. Which leads me to the roof top restaurant., not only was the menu mouth watering with choice but even more delicious when the food arrived .. the chefs here are trained to a very high standard and monitored by the Head Chef. The roof terrace itself lovely by day with colourful plants but by night it is transformed by lights and is very ro***tic and magical. The hotel is spotlessly clean , they provide purified water in your room daily and facilities for tea and coffee are also included. The location is central and leaving the hotel in any direction leads you to the sights. Outside the hotel is daunting at first and a bit ***ic .. but it’s India .. it’s colourful and noisy but the people of Kerala are delightful, sweet and are not pushy .. I was so impressed by this hotel I returned for a further 3 days at the end of my stay and the 2nd impression was even better than the first .. you will not be disappointed if you book this hotel

The property is very interesting and certainly gives you a sense of history. Its well located. On the whole I found the amenities fairly basic and a bit neglected. The towels were worn out and the carpet in one of my rooms was stained. During the time I was there, renovations were taking place on the ground floor so they moved me to a room on the first floor, there a sofa was being reupholstered. During the day there was quite a lot of hammering which was not pleasant. I was in two different rooms during my stay. The room 'moens' overlooks the street, so if you open the curtains its a bit of an issue in terms of privacy and in general there is a fair amount of noise. Other than that its a nice room. One of the bigger rooms 'mateu' feels half done in terms of the interiors and there is a vast amount of empty space in the room which is not great as an experience. There is also a sky light which you cannot cover even in the night, which was really annoying as there was light in the room from the common area through the night.

Extraordinary place. Must be one of the top hotels globally for its unique location on the waterfront, history, incredible staff (so kind, attentive, gentle and smiley), cleanliness and absolutely amazing food. We celebrated a birthday at a special candlelit dinner they arranged on the pier - superb.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The location seemed ideal for Fort Kochi. All we wanted to see and do was on the walk. All staff were adorable, attaching, careful. The hotel is very well maintained and it leaves us a feeling of nostalgia and a strong desire to come back.

In the hotel that Ctrip has chosen for a long time, this home is in Rose Street, about two minutes walk from the beach. It was late that night, and the younger brother at the front desk was waiting. I quickly checked in. The room I live in is small, but it is basically enough. The cold air of the air conditioner is very big. It won't freeze. I feel that I have not used hot water. In general, it is still okay. Stayed in Cochin for three nights and felt that this place was still great.

Great little hotel. The location is excellent (near the harbor and restaurants) and the staff was very helpful. Excellent value for the cost. Rooms were clean. I had a late evening flight and was allowed to stay in the room past regular checkout time. I also arrived in the middle of the night and there was a nice clerk available. Check-in was quick and I was able to go to sleep shortly after my arrival. I added an extra day to my stay here.
