The hotel looks very quaint with lots of heritage. It has a resort feel with gorgeous yellow coloured umbrellas and sunbed at the pool area. Good breakfast spread. What could be improved: the rooms and bed are quite old, an upgrade would be timely! In the toiler, u will need to shower in the bath tub not too friendly for elderly. But the staff are very friendly and food is good.

Nice hotel. Location quiet, away from city hassle, easy to get to touristic areas by water metro. Rooms - bath is old and depilates. Windows cannot be opened, smell of mold the room. Breakfast - excellent. Buffet dinner nice but food was not warm enough .

Room 117. Bath had peeling enamel, a rusty plug and sealer around the edge that looked dirty. We asked to move. The next room 336, the slip mat in the bath was filthy underneath. I took it to the reception and a clean mat was brought to the room. No channels on the TV worked. We were part of a group and all reported the problem with the TVs. Our tour manager reported this to reception but the problem was never resolved. Seven sun loungers around the pool. We were a group of 36 people ***** with other guests, so nowhere to relax for the majority of guests.

I stayed for 5 nights at the Fern it’s out on Willingham Island which is out of the main part of kochi but it’s very easy to get into then we’re either by Tuk Tuk, taxi or ferry. The hotel was really very pleasant with good food and nice rooms. The staff were very good and I would recommend this hotel. I absolutely adored the hotel pool

Looks more like a 2 star hotel. Not sure how this is a series by Marriott ! Having stayed in multiple hotels by Marriott in the US and other countries, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The whole hotel (reception, restaurant, hallways and rooms) has a strong smell of musty odor (no air circulation). The rooms and bathrooms are very old and dirty. The toilet bowl had turned black. Unacceptable hygiene level ! Overall, the experience was very unpleasant!

A good hotel but a bit remote from the main areas of Kochi and Fort Kochi. The rooms were good, the staff helpful and the pool was good. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good. But its necessary to take a tuk tuk to eat at alternative restaurants.
