This was a last-minute booking for a two-day stay, and I chose this hotel for convenience. Front desk service was excellent and the location is great. However, the rooms need updated linen, as it appeared old and worn. Hot water and water pressure were good. Outside my room, extra beds, linen, and what appeared to be cleaning materials were stored, which did not create a good impression.

Hotel Arches is a great place to stay if you’re visiting Fort Kochi.  Fantastic location near a lot of tourist attractions, shopping and cafes. Kerala Cafe is literally next door. The staff are very kind and helpful.  Checkin was quick and easy.  The room is basic but very clean.  Bed was firm, lots of pillows and comfortable.  Room faced the street but was pretty quiet and had no trouble sleeping. Aircon worked well and the room was stocked with water. No wash cloths which could be added as well as a safety deposit box…didn’t see one but also didn’t ask so it could have been there.  Hotel felt very safe even as a solo woman traveler.  I would definitely stay there again.

Rooms are small with a nice balcony area, the hotel is friendly and on a good street which is quiet and within a few minutes of a nice street where there are lots of restaurants. The food place next door is also very good!!

We liked the hotel; it's in a great location, just steps from the embankment where Chinese chains are located, a nice promenade, and a good supermarket right next to the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, with crisp white linens, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The hotel organized a houseboat excursion to Alappuzha and helped book tickets to the Kathakali Theatre, which is ten minutes away. The restaurant has delicious food. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, and we highly recommend it.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Hotel Arches – Fort Kochi. The staff was incredibly polite, every single one of them. Especially Suresh, Roshini and Anand for going out of their way to make our stay extra comfortable. They helped us book Kathakali and Kalari shows, as well as a kayaking trip. They were super quick and responsive with anything we needed. The place itself is lovely, with beautiful artwork and woodwork everywhere. Breakfast was great too. And the location is perfect, right in the heart of Fort Kochi with everything within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Fort Kochi.

Lovely place. Well located. Staff are excellent and helpful. Very reasonably priced. Easy access to the shopping area, the fishing nets and Jew Town. Stayed there a number of times. It has an old world charm. Their chicken Almond soup is delicious. Had a relaxed time. Thank you.

We are very happy with our experience in this hotel. The hotel is very nice and clean, the rooms have all the comforts and the position is perfect to visit just walking the fort of Kochi. We also like the breakfast on the terrace and the stuff was kind, friendly and helpful. Reasonable price too!
