Hotel has many things other Koh chang hotels did have, e.g. yoga, steam room, meditation session with Buddha bowls and great vegan and normal meals.

The Spa Koh Chang is located in the southeast of Koh Chang. Its wooden huts hidden in the jungle offer a secluded environment away from the crowds. As the eastern area has retained its original appearance and has not been overdeveloped, it is an ideal choice for tourists who prefer quietness and privacy. The resort is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and is suitable for those who seek relaxation and close contact with nature.

We were there for day spa package. Around 2900 Bath. It includes 2 hours treatment (was brilliant!) steam sauna. And food all dag. Really good Thai food. Among these best I had on the island. The restaurant doesn’t looks fantastic but don’t miss the Thai dishes. And they really offer you to eat breakfast ,lunch and dinner. Not alcohol but on the other hand it includes healthy shakes. As many as you want. All day!! Very generous and in a magic atmosphere. Like in the deep Jungle. Very friendly so don’t miss. Highly recommended Day spa package.

Its was a great stay ! We had the most simple room which was very very dark like a mole house:))) but in general hotel is great . I did stay in many similar on bali before. The best thing about it for me was that u can use free kayak ! Amazing! Breakfast was included and good . Lots of fruits and veg . Wish they had some kind of fish. Pool was cold and refreshing . I recommend it ! What could i add ? I would make it more neat and tidy around the territory if i could :)

The Spa Resort at Koh Chang is magical for a solo holiday. The nature- butterflies as large as birds!, tropical plants and mangrove forest-- is breathtaking. There are many solo travellers and it's very friendly- you get to meet people from all over the world, similarly into eco-travel. The pool is glorious as is the spa cuisine with veggies grown on-site. The spa runs day trips, and it's easy to get out and see more of the island. I did the detox and it represents excellent value for money. The masseuses were the best I ever had and yoga teacher was great offering personalised healing. The only downsides were that my room had broken hot water frequently (I should have asked to switch!). Not all rooms were like this, btw. Also, the level of English spoken by the staff resulted in many misunderstandings, overall they were happy to remedy everything. It's not a 5-star resort, and not perfect- but it's very charming, representing excellent value for money in an enchanting setting. You will leave relaxed and renewed.

No yoga teacher. Terrible , depressing room. Booze and noise. This did not constitute a spa experience in any way, shape or form. I left as soon as I could book an outbound flight. It was a total waste of time and money getting there and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I booked a 7-day yoga retreat at Koh Chang Spa in March 2024, and it was an incredible experience. The accommodation was stunningly beautiful, offering a perfect environment to relax and unwind. Also the food was delicious. The morning yoga classes with Kailash were held in a larger group setting, and I really enjoyed them. Kailash is exceptionally knowledgeable about yoga, and his teaching style is both engaging and accessible. In the afternoons, I had private workshops with Kailash, which I highly recommend. He tailored our sessions to my specific yoga level and personal goals, dedicating a lot of time and attention to my practice. By the end of the week, I felt remarkably strong, both mentally and physically. Kailash’s expertise and dedication made me feel incredibly comfortable and supported throughout the retreat. I would absolutely book this retreat again in a heartbeat.

I rarely write reviews but I had such a wonderful time at the Ko Chang Spa I feel compelled to share my experience with anyone considering the retreat. The setting is a stunning, beautifully curated jungle backdrop but with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. We stayed in the hillside cottage rooms which are perfect for enjoying the view and have a fabulous (sheltered) outdoor bath (and indoor shower) to enjoy. Our balcony looked out onto the resort jungle and mountains! The staff are welcoming and happy to go the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need. Olivia is the wonderfully spirited resident yoga and detox guru who ensures your detox programme is tailored to your needs and keeps you motivated - if that’s the reason for your visit. The thai and essential oil massages were excellent (thanks to Nalini and Lek) and I left knot free! There’s on-site complementary kayaking along the mangroves and local trips to a waterfall and stunning Long Beach - which I recommend highly! The food is freshly made and tasty although the breakfast is a little basic. Lunch and dinner options were good. At times I struggled to communicate with some of the restaurants staff due to their lack of English and although I agree I should be attempting to speak Thai when in Thailand - it would have been helpful for all if they spoke some basic English. The owners grandmother was often onsite and spoke fantastic English - she will attempt to teach it I’ve been told. There’s also a handy complementary taxi to and from the ferry port included. If you want a retreat in a unique, peaceful setting, surrounded by nature with a great pool, lake, daily yoga and massages on site then the Koh Chang Spa is the perfect choice!!

Thanks to Poon (owner), Jang (aromatherapist & masseuse), Nim (yoga instructor) and eveyone else for helping to make sure that my wife and I enjoyed our 3½ day detox semi-fast! We'll definitely be back 😁

We did not stay at the resort (unfortunately) but discovered it by coincidence on bike passing by. We were amazed about the resort in every way and came back the next day for a treatment. I had a 90 minute back/neck/shoulder massage with employee named “Lek Lek” - and it was the best massage of my life. She is very skilled and opened my back in a new way - and with her happy spirit, she deserved a hug after the experience

Having done the detox multiple times at The Spa Samui Lamai Beach & Village, I was keen to experience this as a comparison. Oh my word I’m so glad I did! It is the exact same programme which I know and love, and which really works. Even has ‘Guy’s breakfast’ on the menu 😄. The refurbished rooms are beautiful, ours had a huge bathtub and amazing balcony. The room was a fabulous size with an extremely comfortable kingsize bed. Massage was amazing too, including Ampuku. Gym needs an overhaul, but I imagine that is next on the refurbish agenda. But there is yoga, and there are bicycles and kayaks free to use. If you know the sister Spa’s in Samui this is more like the village in its peaceful location, but nicer as it’s not as hilly. It doesn’t have anything nearby so if you want to explore the busier parts of the island you’ll need a car/scooter. The nearest beach is Long beach, 10 min shuttle from the hotel, and one of the loveliest we’ve found in Thailand. This is the perfect detox oasis and I’m already planning my next trip. Thank you to Poon & your team, your resort is a magical haven in a crazy world.

I couldn’t have start my vacations better! I arrived being exhausted from life, definitely needed a break - and in the second I entered this beautiful gem, I felt I‘m able to breath again. Sounds pathetic - but it‘s just the truth. Nuch and her family run a beautiful place with just a few bungalows in the greenest area you could imagine. It’s on the way less touristy east side of Koh Chang - and it is actually WAY more beautiful than the pictures I can see here show. They also recently renovated the restaurant, the reception area and also a couple bungalows. The fast&detox retreat was so professionally and lovely accompanied - I called Nuch my Detox Mama after only 2 days. Really couldn’t feel more de-stressed and lovely treated as I experienced there. Thanks again for everything <3

If you want to reset your body and mind, look no further. It’s becoming my ritual now to come here every year. You will leave this place with a new body and new perspective. You will not be able to find anything like this at this price in Thailand.

The entire facility is relatively new, but totally filthy, partly defective and unusable. We went exclusively for the steam sauna. The price was 300 baht, which was already relatively expensive. Normally this is an amount for the whole day. After 30 minutes the steam was turned off without warning. Overall completely inadequate. No service, no towels, no window in the toilet and so on.
